It's not that unheard of as you think. Players know that a hit from behind is almost always an automatic 5 minutes, some are willing to pay the price to get their team on the PP.

And I didn't mean that Pirri did it on purpose, just that some players have a habit of doing it these days.

I think this mainly happened because his linemates (or the bench since it was right next to them) forgot to yell heads up. Foligno was coming from a mile away prepared to hit and they should have noticed it.

Agreed. Extremely impressed. Showing up Pirri so far and Pirri has had more games in the NHL in a much more powerful top six in CHI.

Impressed with Kulikov tonight. I love how he out skated Jovo to the puck down low as Jovo was trying to get to the puck Kuli just blew past him to get the puck
