Ok so is that it? Salaries/Lines

So lets see, here we are:

Pavol Demitra UFA $4.5 million
Jeremy Roenick $4.94 million
Mattias Norstrom $2.66 million
Aaron Miller $2.66 million
Craig Conroy $2.394 million
Lubomir Visnovsky $1.52 million
Mathieu Garon $1.216 million
Luc Robitaille $1 million
Dustin Brown $942,000
Trent Klatt $912,000
Nathan Dempsey $874,000
Derek Armstrong $760,000
Eric Belanger $758,100
Joe Corvo $668,800
Tim Gleason $646,000
Sean Avery $532,000
Jeff Cowan $532,000
Tom Kostopoulos $525,000

For $28,039,900

And as far as our undisclosed salaries go lets just put in few numbers

Jason LaBarbera UFA 650,000
Valeri Bure UFA 1,500,000
Alexander Frolov Re-signed RFA 2,000,000
Mike Cammalleri Re-signed RFA 817,000
Adam Hauser Re-signed RFA Dont think this one matters as he will be in Manchester

Bringing us roughly up to 33 million and giving us a roster /lines something like this

Frolov - Roenick - Demitra
Brown - Conroy - Bure/Cammalleri
Luc - Armstrong - Klatt/Bure/Cammalleri
Avery/Cowan - Belanger - Kosto

Norstrom - Gleason
Mmiller - Vishnovsky
Dempsey - Corvo/Grebeskov

Garon
Labarbera

Low 30s is what DT said. Now I think we have some bodies to move for a trade maybe but is this really an upgrade? What should we be looking to do? Look at that right side. We could trade Klatt or like someone said in another thread we could let Demitra center the second line but that means moving Conroy to the third line and I dont think I am very big on that. Anyway would just like to hear everyones opinion

You know what? I've seen a lot of people complain about the kings size, and it's true we don't have a lot of big guys up front. Granted Brown and JR will contribute. And I know Frolov just signed (which is awesome!), and the Kings are probably done with getting forwards. But I couldn't help but notice that John LeClair (left winger about 35/36 years old) is an UFA. Now, I'm not saying the Kings should go out and get him because we've signed enough FA, but he is a proven goal scorer and it wouldn't hurt to have some size on the left wing. Besides, if the Kings could get him at a decent price, they could possibly shop some other players for someone at the blueline.

But overall, I think I speak for everyone when I say we need a good D-man.

We're probably done signing UFA's... not done with trades. A D-man is on the way in exchange for someone... now who could that be?

I think they're probably at around $34-35-million right now...

Frolov's probably at about $3.2 for a five year deal....

I do like Witt, but I'm not sure what we'd offer for him.

How about this. Trade either Cowan or Belange, along with Corvo and a second for whoever.

We would still be left with this 22 man roster.

Frolov - Roenick - Bure
Brown - Demitra - Cammalleri
Robatille - Conroy - Klatt
Avery - Armstrong - Kostopulous
Cowan/Belange (whoever you didn't trade)
with Kanko, Lehoux and Clark in the wings

Norstom - Gleason
Miller - Vishnovsky
Dempsey - TRADE
Grebeskov
with Petiot in the wings

Garon
LaBabera

That is the way to do it

That lineup looks solid, except you have Brown on the left wing. I say EBel, Corvo, and maybe a pick for the D-Man, and sign LeClair for that big winger and stick him on the second line with Brown and Pavel (big line) and move Mikey C to the 3rd line.

I know, I know. I'm wishful thinking on LeClair, just put Brown on the RW (ignore everything else I said) and your lineup looks good.

Just waiting to see who our new defenseman will be. Then we'll be done. Already have an impressive lineup. Cannot wait for the season.

Trading Cowan, Belanger and Corvo combined get's the Kings just under $2-million in CAP space. If they're where I think they are in salaries, about $34.5, I think it depends on where they really want to be going into the season and the caliber (salary) of the d-man they'd bring in...

I wan't Cowan- Avery- Tom K as our checking line

Brown played LW almost all of last season in MCH.

Brown was a LW in Manchester last season and we need LWs

I think Conroy will be on the second line and he will center Bure and Camms/Brown.

My Prediction of our forward line-up:

Camms/Brown-Roenick-Demitra
Frolov-Conroy-Bure
Luc-Army-Klatt
Cowan-Belanger-Avery

Obviously, I wouldn't be surprised to see Frolov with Roenick and Demitra, also I still beloeve Klatt and/or Army will be traded.

Time to get a top 4 D-man.

Brown can play on either wing. He was a RW in junior.

That must be why I saw him listed as a RW on the roster. I thought he was a right winger. But if he can play on either wing, that makes him more versatile.

Prediction:

Line 1: American Line
Robitaille - Conroy- Roenick (crush the net)

Line 2: Euro-Line
Frolov-Demitra-Bure (fast, fast, fast)

They usually end up being like that by the middle of the season anyway

First off how many of these posts we going to have?

Frolov - Conroy - Demitra (Conroy needs the better players around him and Frolov similar to Iginla so it would work out well and Demitra is slated to play wing so that is what he will be playing)
Luc - JR - Bure (Luc and JR will be on same line and i think Bure speed would help greatly with Lucs quite opposite of speed skating)
Brown - Avery - Camms (Dont know how many times i'll say it keep Camms and Brown on the same line already have chemistry and let them further increase it and why not get Avery in there just to piss people off)
Cowan - Ebelanger - Kostopulous/Flinn (Kind of the left over people and players who play the enery - stop role. I put Flinn there hoping he would be played but i think Kostopulous will take his place)

Norstrom - Gleason (Lets see if Gleason has what it takes to be a first paring D-man)
Miller - Demsey (Demspey is highly underrated by our team if i may say my personal opinion)
Visnovsky - Petiot/Grebs (I think Petiot will make it on the team at camp and Grebs is more or less likely to be called up sometime this spot will be filled by many d-men i believe)

Garon/Lababera(sp?) (This will be like Roloson Fernandez i believe Garon will prob play like 50 games and Lababera (Can never spell his name) 32 games)

Which one of the 2 bures you listed above is Bob Saget?
The one on the 2nd or the one on the 3rd line?
I think we need a Saget also for our D
