I'm not a big salary-cap-analyst type of poster so I don't claim to know where the Kings are at right now payroll wise (and I guess nobody does until we know Frolov's terms), but it would be interesting to see other teams at the same payroll and compare rosters. I'd have to think the Kings are looking VERY good assuming they're still in the low 30's. And I know this all has to play out on the ice but it would still be interesting to look at other teams with a similar cap number and see where LA stacks up. I'll bet the roster looks better than most.
Calgary and Edmonton are very strong with a low cap number, probably moreso than the Kings. You might also look at Minnesota, Columbus and Phoenix, all of which still have some cap room and all of which look strong.
