How Will You Remember Brett Hull?

With what team will you most associate with The Golden Brett when he retires and enters the Hall of Fame? Try to think 10 years down the road. Will it be with the Flames when he started? The 90's in St. Louis where he scored ridiculous amounts alongside Oates? Dallas or Detroit where he won his Cups? Phoenix where he might finish out his career? Or some other team to play his last season and perhaps win another Cup with?

Personally I go with the Blues, as that was the era I started following hockey.

What is the big deal about the Canada thing?

Brett Hull will be remember as a Blues.

Done nothing in Calgary.
Has done nothing in Phoenix yet and likely will not.
Not a star or core in Dallas or Detroit.

What? Apart from Modano, he was arguably the Stars best player during his stay.
Also, he will obviously be remembered most in a Stars uniform because of his infamous Stanley Cup clinching goal against the Sabres in 1998.

Wouldn't say that, but he was most definitely a core and key player.

Funny...born in canada, sure. But he's a dual citizen and says he's american...
Raised in Chicago for the most part, when his parents got divorced he moved from Winnipeg back to the states...went to college in Minnesota.
Yeah...I'd say he's american.

Not like it matters anyways, Hull wouldnt have made Team Canada after '96 anyways. Deadmarsh wouldn't be caught dead in a Team Canada uniform either ( I would hope we werent that desperate)

But anyways, Hull is going to be remembered as a Blue. He had those three big seasons and then two more where he scored over 50 goals. By '98 when he went to Dallas he was well past his prime for sure. Even the "goal" doesnt make me remember him as a Star over a Blue

I'll remember him as a Star because I was too young at the time he played for the Bules and also the Cup winning goal.
