I thought last year's lineup was unbeatable. Alex Martel proved me wrong again.
BTBAM baby!

And in just 2 days... I think I'd be worried about the weight of that being too much and the whole site basically collapsing into a black hole or something... ?

Balls to Metallica. I still own the original four records and still love them but I hate the band. I don't ever claim to hate anything. Just Metallica. **** Metallica.
You're actually missing the point of what music is. You need a good cleanse.

I love the RF line-up, hate every thing about it though, not going.

Even with all these announcements with the affiliation with the FEQ, you don't give the RF a second chance?

I love the Rockfest lineup, but you know what's funny? Henry Rollins and Black Flag on the same poster. Also, Danzig w/ Doyle and The Misfits. If they're playing on the same day, the backstage area should be interesting.

Can't say I like much of anything on that rockfest. Guess I wouldn't mind seeing cradle live, or weezer if they played some older stuff. A resounding 'meh' from me.

And a bonus 'lol!' at motley crue even being a thing.

As for metallica pre and post load... I went into a listing of their discographies in an attempt to find enough good songs to dispel the theory that they completely 'fell off'. Came up almost empty handed.

I'm not even that big a metallica fan, I just couldn't believe that they'd go from being that great to that bad all of a sudden.

Only one song I listen to from each of load/reload, and one I'm not even particularly fond of to begin with. King Nothing and unforgiven II. Love all the unforgiven songs.

I'm tempted to check out Rockfest. I'm already going to Heavy Montreal. Stoked to see Slayer!

It's gonna be hard missing a show with Taking Back Sunday AND brand new in Quebec since these guys come here once a decade. I don't think I'll be hitting up rockfest though.

Cradle of filth at rockfest should be fun.

That whole lake of piss at rockfest was pretty overblown... it was one of the best festivals I have ever been to. I went to 12 music festivals in 2013, just to give you an idea how often I see live music.

I was surprised to see that The Agonist weren't at the Heavy MTL or at the Rockfest, considering they're a local band and all.

Then I learned that the band appears to have dissolved, with Alicia White-Gluz taking the vocal duties on Arch Enemy.

Anyone going to Dream Theatre this Friday at the Bell Centre? Anyone know of a reliable site where decent tickets can be had at this late stage?

Thanks.

Thanks. Just concerned about ticket scams, lots of fakes out there. Hence, was looking for a safer source.
