Marcel Goc being Pittsburgh's best possession play through 2 periods on a line with Tanner Glass and Craig Adams is impressive.

'Throw Down'. 'Chunky'. The eating related word choices of the head fat boy apologist are most curious indeed.

Goc and Stempniak were great. Loved the effort for the first 2 periods by everyone. We dominated down low on the forecheck for the first time in a long time. Bad in transition again in the 3rd though and spent way too long in the o-zone because of bad outlets. Its a better effort, but we have to start doing it for 60 minutes.

So, I'm only going to comment on this once, whatever: Despres and Bort played 6 minutes in the 2nd period. They played 2-3 in the 3rd.

Just to be clear, I actually like Despres. I was just viewing him through the eyes of Bylsma today.

No, no, no. Bylsma was holding Geno accountable. Applaud his courage.

Gibbons played with Crosby for a few games. Obviously he's better than Vitale. Bylsma has determined this, and that's the way it will always be.

And they were easily our best pairing every time they were on the ice.

And Malkin barely played 2 minutes in the last 12 minutes of the game. By now, we all should know that the exact moment we say Bylsma can sink no lower is precisely when he shows himself to be an even bigger buffoon. Orpik, Scuderi, Gladams. I'd like to say it still kills me, but at this point it just makes me numb.
