I suppose I've also heard bad things about NJ or NYR or both? I forget which.

SJ is probably the worst for a Dallas fan. I expected more from BOS. STL/NYR/NSH all talk a lot but as BKennedy said, nothing mean. San Jose was just horrible. NJ fans were too busy fighting amongst themselves to worry about us when I was there. Never had an issue in CHI/CBJ/PHX/LA or on Long Island.

After having Dallasman in town and listening to his stories, it sounds like Edmonton gets pretty bad.

Hey guys, I decided based on the other thread I'm gonna stream the next few games and see if anyone actually watches on them. If so, I can make this a permanent thing, it's *near* hd (slightly less than what I actually see through gamecenter), so maybe very slightly less than VLC. But at least consistent.

I'll try to post the link in every thread if that's okay with Lobo? It'll be through Twitch. The Twitch accounts *may* get banned (really depends if it even is big enough to get noticed), but I'll try to get the games to you guys that can't watch whether it's because it's on TXA or w/e.

Tested earlier during the LA v ANA game. This is the quality I got while live-streaming, if this is suitable. I'll try to make it a bit better quality in the future.

Make your channel private and add a password so it has less of a chance of being caught.

Not anymore apparently. First when googling how said they removed the option to make it private for the following reason:

"Generally due to it being used for negative purposes, such as streaming illegal content. The vast majority of streams using it were not using it for it's intended purposes, and it was not compatible with some of our new video player engineering."

Worst case scenario I can make different twitch accounts, or find a new service.

I went to a DAL NYR game in January in my Nichushkin jersey and a guy followed me around the concourse booing me. He got tossed out of MSG haha

Nothing more than that, but we had pretty expensive seats so there probably weren't as many harecore fans and I really doubt anybody wants to throw down with me anyway

NJ is meaner than NY. The heckling I got at MSG was all good natured. NYI ignored me. NJ is just a testy crowd all around.

Was opposite for me. I was up in the rafters for NYR and got heckled most of the night (was the night of the Ribeiro throat accident), but it wasn't anything bad or that I felt threatened by. NJ we just got absolutely blown out, but I was right behind our bench and didn't leave until the game was 4 or 5-0 and the place was dead so I didn't hear a single word from any Devil fans. But I literally did see three or four different fights amongst Devil fans as we all left. Was bizarre to me. They honored the 2000 Cup team that night I was at Prudential. Fun times.

I hate to say that this game is a must win, but with @PIT and @PHI the next two games on the schedule, we need to get the points tonight, and hope for 2 or 3 out of 4 in PA.

Yeah tonight is very important. A win tonight against the Jets would probably put the final nail in their coffin. Hoping for the best tonight!

Dang, the only news coverage the Stars get and they aren't sending him out full-time. Rough.

Might end up having to do that, we'll see. I don't think the stream will get noticed by volume either way, though. It'd have to be an automatic detector or something.

Bkennedy that looks damn good. I would have been all over it a few months ago but I'm back in the great state of Texas for a while so I don't need to stream. Hopefully it goes well though and I'll use your streams next season

Super lame. I thought the reporters all flew with the team anyways. How much do you reckon the DMN is actually going to save by keeping him at home.

It's for the entire 3 game trip. So maybe they think they'll save on a hotel room?

Makes no sense.

I also thought he flew with the team, but then his tweet about Sceviour/Mueller being on his commercial flight up to St. Louis dispelled that thought.

I can't speak for the Stars but it might behoove them to offer to fly him for better coverage. Won't really cost them anything except maybe some privacy and allows access for Heika and Stars coverage in the paper.

With all the draft talk, Rangers getting started, March Madness...etc, they need to do whatever they have to to keep Stars playoff talk front and center.

Speaking of Mueller/Morin which one is out if Eakin is back in?
