Hard to win when you are coached this bad. Way too many shifts for Sid with Glass. Way too much of guys like Adams, Glass, Pyatt etc. as always. DB being DB and showing why he's the worst lineup decision maker in the league.
GWG on a shorty with Engelland on the ice on the PP
Adams out with Malkin near the end of the game trailing by 1 goal
Glass on first line
Refusing to dictate matchups at HOME
Too much cool stuff has happened to me since before Christmas to get worked up over stuff like this, but it's so ****ing hard when you have someone so incompetent coaching your team, it almost seems deliberate.
Glass with almost 4 more minutes of ice time than Megna, who was the best player on the ice today.
Anyone with an IQ over 40 knows better. How come we still have this (Mod Edit) as a head coach... Also, is it really that hard to see that Megna is a great hockey player with great hockey sense and could benefit the 1st line while Kunitz is down. Bylsma brings nothing but failure to this team and it sure looks like another perfect setup for failure again this year.

You know, it's been said by many of us all year but it's not that we lose but how we lose. We didn't get out talented today despite our lack of depth. We beat ourselves with stupid penalties and a complete lack of structure.
Exactly this. Losing is a part of life. It's okay to come up short if you gave your best effort. Failing with less than your best effort is pathetic.
I no longer care about Despres, Malkin, or Crosby. All I want.
ALL I WANT is for someone to explain to me why this team thinks Craig Adams and Tanner Glass are players who should be featured on the top-2 lines at any point during an NHL game or practice.
Not saying its right but the Pens see that F3 as a defensive position. So I'm guessing they don't have a problem with those guys playing there. One problem is those guys are made to move their feet and get pucks like a dog. They're not even that good defensively.
Another problem is when Sid and Malkin only have one option down low they're easy to defense or just play the puck to the point for another bland point shot.
I usually go out to Pittsburgh 6-8 times a year. I'm really happy I only went to one game this season. I really can't stand watching this money making machine over what used to be a hockey team.
This weekend is a good example of what we'll get in the playoffs. Same ol' same ol' with these pack of Nancy's.
I want Bylsma to give the answer. I just want to hear what he says. Glass provides nothing the first line needs. Even if you think he's a defensive stalwart - Crosby is no slouch, neither is Stempniak, and you're down a goal. What does Adams provide when you're down a goal? I need him to explain. I just have to understand. Just say something that isn't littered with cliches and gibberish and just say,
"Tanner Glass played as a top line winger today because ..."
I won't agree with it no matter what you say, but at least I'll be able to understand your thought process.
And you expect someone in the Pens PR machine to ask it?
Methinks you need to be educated by Rossi, lest your lack of understanding allow such misconceptions to fester.
When the Pens had almost a full team, they stunk. I m not in that camp of because the Pens are missing some wingers that gives them an excuse. This defense is bad. When they had five guys from WB they played better.
Thats what I'am saying, Shero got more exposed than Bylsma during this 2 games .
No. not at all. If you think Shero got more exposed than DB I don't know what to tell you.
I don't care who you are, Shero, or one of these arm chair GM's on here, you can't combat the ridiculous amount of injuries this team takes on, and then on top of that, do it with even less cap space to work with.
I don't know how the cadre of crack reporters that follow this team don't ask the most ****ing obvious questions like "Why is Glass utilized as a 1st-line winger, no matter the injury situation?"
If I covered the circus beat and saw the ringmaster using the bearded lady on the tightrope, I'd ask him about it.
I don't know man, how can you make a living off this and not ask those types of questions. I get they're just a pr arm of the team but you'd think one of them would have gone rogue. Imagine a political reporter uncovering Watergate and be like naw, don't want to ruffle any feathers.
Also stunned at the Letang news. If I was him, there'd be no way I'd be playing NHL level hockey a couple of months after a stroke. Then again, Pens doctors.
