I get a child at Christmas level of excitement hearing this, and that Sid willingly pulled himself off of the PP today, hoping that these kinds of things hint at the end of the Bylsma/Shero era.

It is beyond my level of comprehension how anyone can still continue to defend Bylsma, as well as Shero. I just don't get it.

Guys. Don't get your hopes up about the young guns playing in the near future, or at all.

If they can't crack the lineup consistently this year, when we have a pandemic of injuries, they won't even sniff it when we are fully healthy and the cap goes up next year.

Hard to win when you are coached this bad. Way too many shifts for Sid with Glass. Way too much of guys like Adams, Glass, Pyatt etc. as always. DB being DB and showing why he's the worst lineup decision maker in the league.

Too much cool stuff has happened to me since before Christmas to get worked up over stuff like this, but it's so ****ing hard when you have someone so incompetent coaching your team, it almost seems deliberate.

Glass with almost 4 more minutes of ice time than Megna, who was the best player on the ice today.
Anyone with an IQ over 40 knows better. How come we still have this (Mod Edit) as a head coach... Also, is it really that hard to see that Megna is a great hockey player with great hockey sense and could benefit the 1st line while Kunitz is down. Bylsma brings nothing but failure to this team and it sure looks like another perfect setup for failure again this year.

Exactly this. Losing is a part of life. It's okay to come up short if you gave your best effort. Failing with less than your best effort is pathetic.

Not saying its right but the Pens see that F3 as a defensive position. So I'm guessing they don't have a problem with those guys playing there. One problem is those guys are made to move their feet and get pucks like a dog. They're not even that good defensively.

Another problem is when Sid and Malkin only have one option down low they're easy to defense or just play the puck to the point for another bland point shot.

I usually go out to Pittsburgh 6-8 times a year. I'm really happy I only went to one game this season. I really can't stand watching this money making machine over what used to be a hockey team.

This weekend is a good example of what we'll get in the playoffs. Same ol' same ol' with these pack of Nancy's.

I just have to understand. Just say something that isn't littered with cliches and gibberish and just say,

"Tanner Glass played as a top line winger today because ..."

I won't agree with it no matter what you say, but at least I'll be able to understand your thought process.
And you expect someone in the Pens PR machine to ask it?

Methinks you need to be educated by Rossi, lest your lack of understanding allow such misconceptions to fester.

Hope DB gets some type of disease that forces him to retire from coaching. Don't give a **** that he's a nice guy anymore, that **** does not cut it at this point.

I'm still convinced, you/coach leans too much on one, two individuals at the expence of teamplay.
I'm convinced, this is basically a good team.

Apparently Letang and Bennett will be in full practice tomorrow.

I get Bennett, but Letang? Just, out of nowhere?

Huh...

And yet, no matter how bad it gets, Rossi and Yohe will continue to pull their Baghdad Bob routine...

When the Pens had almost a full team, they stunk. I m not in that camp of because the Pens are missing some wingers that gives them an excuse. This defense is bad. When they had five guys from WB they played better.

Never said or thought otherwise. Was only saying that I wish Geno hadn't let pride get in the way of quitting on Bylsma for the last 45 minutes today.

The hilarious part of this comment is that Bylsma leans on Glass and Adams when every other coach in the history of hockey would be leaning on the 2 generation talents....

No. not at all. If you think Shero got more exposed than DB I don't know what to tell you.

I don't care who you are, Shero, or one of these arm chair GM's on here, you can't combat the ridiculous amount of injuries this team takes on, and then on top of that, do it with even less cap space to work with.

I don't know how the cadre of crack reporters that follow this team don't ask the most ****ing obvious questions like "Why is Glass utilized as a 1st-line winger, no matter the injury situation?"

If I covered the circus beat and saw the ringmaster using the bearded lady on the tightrope, I'd ask him about it.

I don't know man, how can you make a living off this and not ask those types of questions. I get they're just a pr arm of the team but you'd think one of them would have gone rogue. Imagine a political reporter uncovering Watergate and be like naw, don't want to ruffle any feathers.

Also stunned at the Letang news. If I was him, there'd be no way I'd be playing NHL level hockey a couple of months after a stroke. Then again, Pens doctors.
