Ok. I always automatically think if a team and/or it's fans are hated on then the city itself is also hated on. Simplistic but not true?

Which teams do you hate but the city they play in is one that you love?

1. LA Kings. I hate the team, but I love LA the city!

2. Anaheim Ducks. I hate the team, but I love Anaheim! Disneyland!

3. New York Islanders. I dislike the team, but I love NYC!

Vancouver should be a popular one.

Vancouver, Montreal, Boston. All nice places, can't stand the teams or the players

Toronto, hate the team because its so overrated but I really love the city and moving there soon. Vancouver as well but I'm starting to like them more and more. I hate the Rangers now because of Martin St. Louis but New-York city is probably my favourite city in the world.

Los Angeles...that's it.

The other teams I hate

San Jose: Never been. Can't comment
Detroit: Speaks for itself really.

Well, this will be changing, but the Islanders have been in Long Island, which is quite a different place than NYC.

I'm hoping to visit Vancouver pretty soon, as I've heard it's beautiful out there. Montreal is a great city, and my god I love poutine.

Long island is no nyc. Hate the caps live in dc. Just a great city except for the cuisine.

Toronto.

Being a Habs fan my opinion on the Leafs should be obvious. But the city of Toronto?

Yes please.

Ha, Vancouver probably #1. I haven't been to many places in NA, so I can't really answer this. I hear great things about Montreal, but don't mind the Habs anyway.

Expecting a lot of 'Toronto' answers in this thread.

Personally, Montreal. Love the city, the culture and the nightlife. The team, not so much.

Don't like the team much, but I'm expecting to like them a bit more when I move to Toronto? Plus...Toronto FC and the Raptors make the city so appealing.

Oops. It is different isn't it. Where are the Islanders moving to?

I love Montreal! Great city! I am rather biased about Vancouver. It's beautiful!

Always hated the Flames but I loved the city when I lived there. Never cared for the city up the #2 though have a semi soft spot for that team.

Toronto's a wonderful world class city with lots to offer for anyone and everyone.

The Leafs though are an anomaly. Lots of our fans grew up with them and it's part of our history.

LMAO

First of all the Islanders are not in NYC. They are in Uniondale, which is pretty much Hempstead, and to give you an idea of Hempstead, its "pride and joy" is this guy

You have clearly never been to Uniondale haha. It is a horrible dump. The Coliseum is practically a beacon of light compared to the city (and surrounding cities) itself haha. Hempstead is consistently rated one of the worst collegetowns in the USA

Not trying to **** on Long Island in general, there are a lot of nice areas, but Uniondale is awful. Thank God they are getting out

Brooklyn, which is still technically Long Island, just not what most people think of as Long Island (Nassau/Suffolk)

Its a lot nicer there haha

LA only because the Kings just irritate me for some reason.

Some would think Toronto because I'm a Habs fan, but I honestly cannot say I hate the Leafs. The fanbase can get on my nerves, but I actually like the team and miss Ontario as a whole. Ironically, I hate Montreal, but am a Habs fan. Go figure.

Lindstrom's

I didn't even think the guy deserved to be a finalist that year.

They'll be moving to Brooklyn in the very near future, but for now they've been out in Long Island.

I've heard a lot of good things about Vancouver the city, and have some friends out there, so hoping to visit in the near future.
