kucherov was wearing down. Killorn is showing same thing.

Panik if he could step up last couple weeks would be HUGE.

Malone will also wear down even playing daily against these bigger teams and teams in playoff mode so I worry when the crash comes for him because it will

Stupid mistakes reaching hooking etc. This will happen but the good news.

Ottawa next in back to back so assume the others get a shot tomorrow. These older cats can take a siesta with their tequila and wench a bit.

Couple of things to keep in mind with Killer - This is his first 82 game NHL season. Last year he split time with AHL and NHL, and before that he was in college.

Palat and Johnson played in the CHL, so are more used to the longer schedules. This could just be growing pains for Killer.

Look, to be clear I'm not making excuses. He's been mediocre lately. I'm just looking for reasons.

I aint knocking no one. Well TEDDY lol but that is what it needs to be lol.

I cannot wait till all these kids are like 24 lol and the others 27 haha.

Anyway think cooper is doing a great job trying to refresh some people and with the kids. Killorn is trying hard. He is not top line but he is what we have right now. I think that top line will click soon maybe even tonight

Seems like Ryan Callahan has revitalized this team. I see it washing through all of them and some like killer getting the second wind.

For the knocks on killer he TOI has been very high the last many games and he is not playing badly he is just not playing to level we would love to see yet. Part of that is stamkos is still a little off and johnson is adjusting.

We are close the whole team is sooo close you can see it and feel it.

Maybe tonight is the night

Our expectations for Killer might be a bit high as well, much like with Brown. We have to consider that he might not be best suited to a top-six role. And that's okay - we've had some surprises on that front (Palat, maybe Johnson). If we wind up with Killer on our third line next year, playing his north-south game, hopefully with a physical edge, I think we should consider it a luxury.

too bad the trade deadline is over. Reimer's stock seems to be low and I wouldn't mind having him backup Bishop.

Agreed. Reimer is a good goalie, but he's horribly underappreciated by Carlyle.
