Cammy is your typical tweener...he's small but does not have great skating ability....he's shifty b/c he can puckhandle well, but he isnt the wind

It shocks me how he can talk about Cammy not cutting it in the defensive areas (i dont have a link of Murray saying that it was his Defensive play but i am assuming) yet he still plays Luc, Carter, MODRY...

This is the year that Cammy finds out if he is a King or not. The Kings better put him in the line up or i assume he will want to be traded. Hell i would want him to be traded so i could see him play. i think he is more deserving of a spot on the roster then Brown (and i LOVE Brown).

Assuming that both Cammi and AM are evolving as player and coach we should see Cammi get more opportunities to prove himself. I'm sure both felt like Mike had more in the tank when he was demoted to the AHL after the speed, size and schedule caught up with him. I don't know, maybe he was tired on hurt or maybe Murray hit him hard in the nose with the rolled newspaper to send the message that he has to be a scorer to earn his keep or that he wasn't gonna make it. After last season in Manchester now it's Cammalieri's time make a push and take advantage of the new rules. When comparing him to Brown I know you should be thibking in terms of different needs and odds. The acquisition of VB should plot a much different road ahead based on size limitations. You can’t have too many small bodies in the line up without a commitment to team toughness. Nashville found a way to make Steve Sullivan competitive. Cammi could use another team with more margin for error and safer upside but unless a trade happens, this is what he’s got.

I don't know about deserving but Brown seems to have a much clear path to the line up. On the other hand it will require the best Cammi got to step on to the ice.

Should be fun to watch

He's just a bit slower than St. Louis, but he can move for sure. Tambellini may actually be faster.

Cammy has shown that he's a scorer...9 goals in 15 games, i believe....i expect him to score goals rather regularly...possibly a few droughts here and there...but there's no denying the fact that he's talented and always seems to get his....

so regardless on his skating ability, i think he will continue to score, but lets hold off on the St. Loius comparisons for now...afterall, the guy was named the most valuable player in the whole league

Saw them both at Michigan. Tambellini IS faster. There's no "may" about it.

That scoring drought that got him sent down might have been because teams were keying on him. If you remember he was about the only thing that we had going on for us. He has alot of the things that make a star, (so did Doug Smith, and Jimmy Carson). Then he drops to the fourth line and eventually heads for NH. I am a fan of the little men from Dionne to St. Louis, Theo and Dino, (their on-ice exploits, not the off ice escapades). Hell, I'm even a Sonny Jurgensen fan.

If you have more than one of these smaller guys, the runners and gunners, (about all one team can stand), it may behoove us to move one. For things we don't have (defense). I'd like to see more of his development and Tambellini's before making a move. 50 games or so. But, in the atmosphere we are existing, in if the right thing came our way, and the stars aligned, the trigger must be pulled.

Believe the fast skater was Noah Clarke, not Cammy, if I remember correctly. Regardless, it will be a sad day for me, and at I think for most of us, if we deal Cammy. I wouldn't even be that happy to get Datsyuk for him and someone else, like Miller. The only player rumored to be moved that I would consider trading Cammy for is Wade Redden.

It's funny how we've spent so many years watching the Kings trade away picks and anguishing after some of them were used to pick good players. Now, we have been stocking up on picks for a few years, and people want to trade players selected away still before we can see if they become good players.

Only if you're getting something really good in return should a move like that be made. DT may have even made some of the offers suggested and they were rejected. I like Cammy, although not as much as some. But, I don't think we should give him up. It's a risk, but his potential is high. If he tanks, we have other prospects. Now, more than ever you need young cheaper talent to be good under the cap!
