Should be a great game..........We need to stay out of the penalty box and play a good hard checking game,,,,,,,,We are the Best team St Louis has played in a while. I know that sounds crazy but its true !

The Blues were shut out by the Hawks on Wednesday.

So his individual stats vs the Flyers are poor... Pittsburgh are the only team he has played more than 10 career games against and performed so poorly vs.

If the Pens are the team who's melons we take up residence in, than surely Ryan Miller is the goalie we, equally, drive bat **** crazy.

That whiny, entitled bull-**** ain't gonna' fly here Ryan. Boogity, Boogity, Boogity. (We gonna' do what they say can't be done)

It was with Buffalo and it's not the same Philly team either so you can't really use those stats.

Happens all teams throughout a season. Blues is missing injured Tarasenko and they are a better team with him. It'll be a tough game anyhow.

It is semi-true... I always think goalie stats vs individual teams do not really tell you much.

Though they are interesting.

Those stats also include a few seasons (~4?) where Buffalo were a pretty darn good team, 2 where they were cusp playoff teams and a season where the Flyers were the worst team in the NHL. Buffalo have only really been a very bad team the last 2 seasons... before that they were playoffs or ~9th best in the east for years.

Miller has 6 epic collapses against Philly in his career. The names on the back may change but the crest on the front doesn't. Those stats are relevant.

Of all the teams in the league, the Blues are one of the teams that I've seen very little of this year. Will be interesting to see if Schwartz is as good as advertised. The Flyers are going to need to be relentless today all over the ice if they want to create quality opportunities. A Hitchcock coached team usually plays with excellent zone and lane discipline.

The Blues are a scary balanced team, plus with Miller in net makes them very good, going to be a tough one today, would be overly happy with a point but am fully prepared for a let down

Meltzer's game day preview. Blues are a strong team. Another good test today.

Facing Bruins West apparently. If you think about it there's not a lot of difference with Miller there now. Rely on rough two-way hockey, have incredible depth at every position, have skilled pests, have a real "team" effort type feel.

That's the way it feel about the Blues. Basically a younger Bruins which is scary.

I'm right behind the goal watching the Blues warmup. Miller is smooth.

The blues have nice forwards but the bruins blow them out of the water. Blues have a better D but not my much , and rask is the best in the league.

Those stats are useless. New teams, new conditions.

Based on the skate, the Blues have made a couple of changes to the lineup that was posted:

74 - T.J. Oshie | 20 - Alex Steen | 42 - David Backes
9 - Jaden Schwartz | 17 - Vladimir Sobotka | 21 - Patrik Berglund
56 - Magnus Paajarvi | 12 - Derek Roy | 29 - Steve Ott
26 - Dmitrij Jaskin | 32 - Chris Porter | 75 - Ryan Reaves

That could mean Morrow and Lapierre are out.

Lineups still not confirmed.

Got to watch for Reaves, he hits like Zac, but has 40 lbs on him.

I just want 1 point here... I would be very happy with that.

At this stage a 1pt game is fine, a point here and I imagine the just need 5 wins (or 10 points) from the last 12 games to make the playoffs.
