Kobasew a Center?

I had no friggin idea. That changes a lot of my thoughts in respect to needs.

He can play both I think. He'll play where Sutter needs him and it probably won't be at center.

Sutter likes players who can play several positions, and he is never too shy to use them that way. Man if Kobasew could center that second line, frees up Reinprecht for top line LW and Amonte for RW second line. I like it.

Nilson/Simon Kobasew Amonte

Now that would be a secondary threat.

Maybe it's just me but I like the idea of Simon on the 1st line opening up ice for Iginla. If he struggles you can play Amonte there.

How nice is it to have all these options? What happens if Lombardi comes into camp and impresses again? Finally we aren't having to pencil a Kobasew/Saprykin combination for 35 goals to ice a decent top 6.

The funny thing about this is the fact that I think that Sutter has one more move in the works that will solidify the top 2 lines.

I can't wait for this season.
