Best trades from TD (Trade Deadline)

Who is working out best for their new team ?

My vote is on Hemsky.

I think he has 2 g 8 a after switching scene, that's pretty good.

Production wise it's probably Hemsky.

But Gaborik in LA on Kopitars line has done wonders for Kopi's game. Having Gabbys incredible speed on his wing opens up so much more space for Kopi to get open. We've never had that dynamic winger before, all a team had to do to shut that line down was to double team Kopi any chance they got, it's pretty tough for opponents to do that now.

Hemsky's been amazing... it's too bad we suck though.

Well if they were all good, the team would be good right? Can't blame the coach, as you guys have tried a bunch of them.

He won't show up in stats but MacDonald has played very well for the a Flyers. All fans want him signed if it is for a reasonable amount.

Hemsky. And to toot my own horn I was one of the people saying that whatever team acquired him would be getting a steal.

I totally agree with this. Cookie monster aka Gaborik has also added another shooter for us in shoot outs His goal last night was the first of many i hope. The more the Gaborik Kopitar play together the better it looks. I'm just hoping we can talk Gaborik into resigning for around 5 million. I think a full year of them playing and our pp and scoring in general woes will be over.

Boston has not lost since adding Meszaros to the lineup. They sat him and made him practice and learn the system extensively and he has fit in perfectly for a 3rd round pick and Philadelphia still paying half of his salary.

Meszaros has 3 points (1 G, 2 A) in 5 games and is a +6 since coming to Boston.

Really a lot of great trades this TDL. Callahan may not be lighting up the score card every night, but he's done some magic with Tampa. Stempniak's numbers are really good, considering the fact that it wasn't a big trade for Pitt. Miller and Halak have both been lights out.

The Kunitz - Sid - Stempniak line has been our one consistent bright spot since the TDL. Loving the acquisition.

Another vote for MacDonald. He's been really good for the Flyers, provides just what the team was lacking on the blue line.

Ruutu only has 4 points since coming to NJ but he has been a nice fit on the line with Zajac and Jagr

Legwand has been playing pretty well, despite his actions vs Pitt of course. 5 points, 53% in faceoffs in 8 games.

Not so sure about Vanek being huge. We lost badly his first few games, and yes he's got 4 in the last 7 but 3 were one night and one was luck. If he gels then yes, but not seeing he's been the steal of the deadline yet

Won't show up in stats, and he was knocked out by a concussion for a week, but Erat has had some good chemistry with Vrbata. Last night was their first game with Hanzal on our "Czech Mix" line, and they generate some good opportunities. Hopefully they'll start cashing in soon.

Probably Vanek for what it "cost" Montreal to get him.

Hadn't they won 5 in a row before that?

Maybe a little biased, but St.Louis for Callahan+picks is probably the best actual trade
