Should try for either McClement, or Bolland imo.

McClement would make our pk even better and we'd have a very good defensive centre who can actually win faceoffs.

our back 6 is more important than the forward group, assuming vanek signs here. we have a lot of pieces and probably need to move a couple, like moen/white/ maybe prust, bourque after this year.

The team is very deep up front right now, but our back-end is full of holes because our right side really only has pk.. I'm mixed on emelin, not sure if he likes the right side, or is better on the left???

to think we went the whole year without seeing emelin pk, as a way to replace markov and try to land a better right handed d surprises me. beaulieu and tinordi both play on the left side, so does gorges. there's too much there.

i don't think we re-sign get markov unless it's a steal because the left side is full.

LD:
Markov
Gorges
Potentially Emelin
Beaulieu
Tinordi

RD:
Subban
Pateryn (not good enough, IMO)
Potentially Emelin, but we only say him excel with markov and looked beyond bad with gorges.
Weaver

I assume murray and bouillon will not be re-signed here, but murray has really stepped it up and you can tell price LOVES how he keeps the front of the net clear.

the d is a mess.

bournival and weise are more valuable than moen and white.

bournival is a keeper.

Sometimes contracts come into play. Bournival could go down to the Bulldogs. He's pretty dime a dozen when he's not contributing offence.

Anyone think that MB will retain Weaver and Murray for another year?

Subban
Markov
Emelin
Gorges
Weaver
Tinordi
Murray
Beaulieu
Pateryn
Nygren

Any chance Nygren start the season in MTL next year?

Pacioretty - DD - Vanek
Galchenyuk - Pleks/Eller - Gallagher
Bourque/UFA - Pleks/Eller - Gionta/UFA
Bournival/Prust - White - Weise/Leblanc

Gionta is making a very good case to keep him. Of course he needs to accept the role.

Bourque is the question mark (Vanek also but don't kill the buzz pls). Prust could take 3rd LW, but that wouldn't be good depth wise. We would need to sign someone in the likes of Bourque without the mental and inconsistency woes.

Andrighetto is the call up.
