Palat has more upside but Filp is the safe bet for sure. I'd go with Filp but really you can't go wrong as they play on the same line and feed each other. On the PP Filp has the advantage as he plays in Marty's old spot as the setup man and handles the puck quite a bit opposite of Stammer.
I could see Berube maybe. But you'd think it'd be between the two coaches who got their teams from picking 1st and 3rd overall to the playoffs. I get it's not supposed to go to most improved team, but that's generally what happens.
It's too hard to overlook Roy coming in and galvanizing the Avs the way he did. It's really more impressive than Coop, with all due respect to him. The Lightning were an underachieving team with leaky parts; the Avs were a team down in the dumps.
