IMO, the Kings would be making a big mistake if the dealt Cammallieri.

What I would like to know from all of the posters that are calling for Cammallieri to be traded because he’s “too small”, “too slow”, “overrated’, “a career AHLer”, etc. is if all that is true, then what makes you think any other team would want him??

I think jfont may be messing with us. Did you intentionally misspell his name jfont?

I'd rather trade Andy Murray, Mark Hardy, and John Van PapSmear!

I look at Cammalleri as the first possible top-6 player the Kings have developed in the Manchester system. It may be nothing, but I wonder if maybe trading him is not the message the Kings want to send to the rest of the prospects. Work hard for 3-yrs in our system, set the AHL on fire and we'll trade your butt for a #4 d-man instead of giving you a shot in the bigs...Like I said, it might not mean anything. But then again, it's not a great message to send to the others in the development system...

I think that is probably one of the best posts I have read on these boards. I hope that DT sees it that way.

I think one of these guys gets dealt before Cammalleri, unless it's an awesome player coming back.

I think we should keep him. He certainly has the potential to start lighting it up and has shown flashes. I don't know what he hears, but hopefully it is not his own name being thrown around in potential trade talk all of the time. That doesn't exactly make a guy feel comfortable with his team.

Trading him would come back to bite us in the butt, I have no doubt.

amen KB. very good post. Cammy has EARNED his shot to be playing in LA this season. All this talk and even the idea of talking about dealing him is just plain foolish. I Just hope they give him a chance. Dont let him waste away on the 4th line.
