Wonder what the asking price for Jeff Skinner would be? If the isles get anything from the Canes, I would want it to be him

The more I think about it, the more I think it won't happen.

I'm thinking either Elliott or Reimer. Elliott is just older Reimer, but there's just too much risk with Ward.

And looking at Cap Geek, his salary is a shade higher than his cap hit. That's the opposite of the owner's preference.

Still want the Isles to win. The season will be over soon enough and winning hockey is more enjoyable to watch then losing hockey. I want to see this young group make some progress.

As usual, I'm getting the Canes feed on CI. I cannot stand Tripp Tracy, but Forslund is a quality announcer.

You will be thinking of me all game PW, with the good name of Rex in the ice and the boards.

anyone notice how when we are in our zone, the defense always stand/pinch at the blueline? One of the reasons I notice why we always have difficulty breaking out

That's what I thought Rex was actually meaning to make reference to, until I saw the ad on the boards in the corner. Sorry Rex

What is the point of hybrid icing? I wonder what the stats are, must be 95% of icing possibilities still end up in icing. Why not go to no-touch already? Maybe I'm nuts, I just woke up from a long nap and the bright white hurts my eyes.

Czuczman skating well, nice play there to take the hit and then lead the rush.

CMac scores, that was fast. Strome with the faceoff win to start things.

Don't know about that, I'm just Rex, not Rexal. Maybe the Oilers should change to the proper name.
