I see. Thanks.

On another note, Buccigross is an excitable guy, huh?

What's the countdown for Gloucester County native Johhny Gaudreau signing with the Flyers?

If he plays 1 more year he will be a free agent right?

If that is the case I hope the flyers sign him just to piss off calgary flames fans who have been on his chain for so long.

But he's not going to be good in the NHL remember?

I can't see him not turning pro after this season, playing another year at that level will do nothing for him. That would be hilarious though.

It sounds like development wise Ghost is ready to move on to the next level. However, that's not a definite on him signing.

The issue with Gaudreau is that his mother wants him to finish school first. And accordingly to an interview Gaudreau had with a Boston newspaper, his mother usually gets her way. It's very possible that he returns for his senior year.

In terms of NCAA free agents this year, my hope is that Kevin Hayes ends up in the orange and black. He could be in a number of spots on the club. Ideally, he'd be a great addition to the Couturier/Read line but I could see him on the wing with Schenn/Simmonds or Lecavalier/Rinaldo. It also means not having to rush Laughton into the lineup and have him play scrap minutes (I'd rather he go to Adirondack and play 17 to 19 minutes a night there than 10 to 12 minutes a night with the Flyers).

Gaudreau also said his dad feels the exact opposite and that he will probably turn pro. His "advisers" will most likely convince him to turn pro as well.

As far as Hayes, I wouldn't be against adding a true free agent, but I wouldn't have high hopes for him. His numbers are a product of Gaudreau. Not to say he doesn't have an NHL future, but I wouldn't pencil him into any lineups either.

Turn pro if you're ready. School will always be there

Take the money, always. Baseball is about the only sports where there are benefits to staying longer than need be, and that really only applies to pitchers.

Disagree with the second part of your post, but that's for another thread.

Well baseball has the three year rule, so you pretty much have to stay. I've always thought pitchers benefit from the college game/schedule more than constantly getting yanked between leagues in the minors.

I swear if the Flyers sign Folin judged by what Bob McKenzie is reporting, I'll run naked on Broad Street.

They are completely dominating Robert Morris. It's not even a game.

Did you watch the BC game? They were skating circles around Denver.

Robert Morris isn't good BTW.
