Blues fans also have realized what garbage Steve Ott is.

-11 for one of the best defensive teams in the league...yikes.

OK, I realize that the Blues probably sent you damaged goods in Stewart, and you sent us Ott who has been nothing but garbage, but could you please send us the real Miller?

Miller makes a good scapegoat for the time being, but the truth of the matter is the Blues have looked really bad as a unit for the past month.

He's won 10 and lost 7 with 1 OT loss. Miller is not the problem in St. Louis. I think the problem with St. Louis started more recently than a full month ago. It looks like nothing more than a late season slump

We'll see if it carries on to the post season. They need to start getting more rubber on net and bury a few.

That would be awesome. Vanna turning letters on the number of games. "FIVE"

As someone else mentioned, it likely won't change the arbitrariness, but still, good riddance.

I completely agree that it's far more the Blues than Miller since the trade, but that said, having watched all but two of their games since then, IMO Miller has not been nearly as sharp as he was for us earlier this year.

Too true. I am going to miss those awkward, stiff video explanations of suspensions. Anyone have a tribute video for Shanny?

Miller has always and will always reflect the strength of the team in front of him. If they are gelling and playing well, then miller will be unbeatable. If the defense is sloppy and the forwards aren't producing, then miller is gonna play like swiss cheese. He isn't blameless, but he certainly isn't the cause.

Will he explain his personnel choices in 4 minute videos?

Does the press conference begin with, "On Friday, April 11th there was an incident in Toronto..."

Some potential negatives:
-Former Bruin
-Former Canadien

Fought Peters

Fought Barnaby
Fought Ray
Fought Ray again

Fought Ray yet again
Fought May
Fought Gord Donnelly
Fought Boughner
Fought Kruse

Potential positive:
Played for the Granby Bisons

Additional note:
He looks damn good for a guy who chucked knuckles over a hundred times with the likes of Ray, May, Probert, Twist, Chara, Lindros, Tochett, Grimson, etc.

I don't know how you can say that when this year, we have played like utter garbage in front of him and he played out of his mind most nights.

The same goes for the playoffs when IMO he shines even if the rest of the team isn't up to the task. I believe that even if the Blues play bad in front of him in the playoffs, he will up his game and give them a chance especially with the injuries they're running into now. At least I hope he ups his game for the playoffs.

I still think a chunk of that was Miller being keyed in for the olympics, but fair point. Miller did play to keep his bad bad team in games most nights. I think on average, though, Miller (like any goalie) has only played as well as the team in front of him.

Montreal is the only one in. Could be lots of changes north of the border.

@SWhyno
Special report: 6 of 7 Canadian NHL teams aren't in the playoffs. A look at what went wrong everywhere: http://www.ctvnews.ca/sports/the-lon...-cup-1.1771711

Okay, I'll say it. HUH? I'm very sorry to see Oshie get rocked and injured, but to dish out an arguably harsher punishment (three are playoff games) than Rinaldo got is just one more example of how positively random and ridiculous this has become. Even if you consider the Rupp hit a bad one, how does that compare to a lunging, feet-off-the-ice hit targeting the head by a previously disciplined player? Are we back to Oshie v. that Roow...Ruwh...Ruhwedel guy nonsense? Playoff-bound Blues v. Golf Course-bound Sabres? If so, unreal.

Hey, buddy! No one hurts an American hero and gets away with it!!!!

It will be interesting to see how the change in regime affects the suspension process (my bet is not at all).
