I consider Bennett to be the most underrated prospect in the system.

Hopefully he follows the same development as his ex-teammate Greg Pateryn! IIRC Timmins is pretty high on him.

It's NCAA day! Happy to see that signing. Been a big fan of him since his Wolverines day.

We do have a BIG problem now though. If we don't make the appropriate adjustements.....there will be no Habs prospects in Michigan next year. Since 2007-2008, there were always at least 1 Hab prospect. Totally unacceptable.

Go Blue! Go Habs!

Yeah, I saw some footage of his play. Pretty interesting player, smooth skater, decent size, whats not to like?

I think you mentionned at one point that he was one Brisebois' (?) favorite?

He also wrote some nice pieces on Michigan's blog section about the training camp, seems like a really smart kid.

For a so called smooth skating, puck moving defenseman his numbers are pretty mediocre. Never was invited to the US World Junior tryouts when he was a teenager.... Not a fan.

No one ever talks about it it seems. Why is that if he has such great potential so to speak ?

He's been a sleeper prospect for a long time. Really versatile, well-rounded player, though I haven't seen him in a while. Look forward to seeing how he looks in the pros. Wouldn't expect him to threaten for an NHL job anytime too soon.

'Cause he's playing in the NCAA? Who knew Pateryn before he joined the Dogs? Only guy people kinda knew a little was Kristo....and probably because I was talking about him too much....

For Bennett, the only thing I'm wondering is how his offensive game could develop. I totally see him on the PP#2. But at worst, he doesn't have a big offensive game and becomes a faster Josh Gorges. He's really solid defensively. Great transition game. Awesome fluid skater.

Can we at least get a quick scouting report from the games you've seen him play?

Tinman, Beaulieu, Pateryn, and now Bennett

Let's hope at least two of these guys can be big time players for us.

That's not HF, that's Ableton Live, a music software. Nice to see Bennett makes beats though.

Those are tracks of colors, likely to be from a music software since he's studying musicology.

I'm not too high on him.

I prefer a lot more of our dman prospects than him.

All I remember is that there's always a few guys who are really impressed with this guy at the Habs' training camps.
