Just ****ing great... Boston and Leafs get a point, except laffs win it.
Well, at least they're still behind Columbus and Detroit.

It was a 4 on 3.

Leafs have 7 points.

A columbus win, takes 2 points away. A loss takes 2 points away.

Toronto faces some not so good teams.

Leafs win in OT. Kadri on the PP. The last 2 penalty calls - one on Toronto and one on Boston were brutal. Both calls were holds neither was a hold. Glad the Bruins lost. Really happy Tampa lost.

All good, leafs are professional chokers. They'll make sure to finish 9th to have the worst possible draft spot while not making the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Columbus faces Chicago, Tampa, Phoenix, and to lesser extent NYI, Florida.
Detroit has Buffalo(x2), us, Pittsburgh Carolina and St-Louis.

Toronto has Winnipeg, Tampa, Ottawa and Florida.

I can see Toronto wedging back into the 8th.

Winnipeg is still somewhat competitive. Ottawa, while they try really hard they can't beat Ottawa. Tampa should win.

Detroit should have a spot locked up.

Chicago is missing Kane and Toews. Phoenix. Islanders and Florida should be wins. So, I can see them winning 3 of those. Means the leafs can't lose. At all.

Columbus also has their rescheduled game against Dallas where they start with a 1-0 lead.

Doesn't Toronto play Ottawa in their last game of the season? Would be great to see them miss the playoffs after a loss to the Sens.

I'm ok with TO making playoffs it would be epic vs Bruins - would also be happy to see criers choke out of playoffs completely

While I want the Leafs to make it they won't. They played horrible. They won because it's just the luck of the draw honestly. Can't lose them all.

Meh, all CBJ needs is 7 points and I think they can get them with Florida, the Isles, the beat up Hawks and the Yotes without Smith don't look dangerous. This is also supposing that Toronto gets 4 straight wins to end the year which I don't see. Even in these last 2 wins they look highly ****** in their own end and Bernier could be sidelined again.

Toronto-Boston would be a fun series. Would be great if Toronto somehow managed to eliminate Boston and we faced them in the second round. Its been over 30 years since they faced off in the playoffs.

Toronto back to 9,9% chance of making it..

Funny: even with a perfect final record, they still only have 64% of making it.

Leafs are really doing the worse thing they can. First they play themselves out of the playoffs (well, not 100%, but nearly), then they start winning to play themselves out of a top 10 draft pick. To make the playoffs they need to get 2 points more than Columbus in 2 less games. Columbus would need a massive choke for the Leafs to get through...

They can get 8pts/4games and they need to be +1pts higher. Columbus can get a total of 12pts/6games. So basically they need Columbus to have less than 7pts/12pts. So it means that T.O needs to win 4 games out of 4 if Columbus is to play a maximum of .583 hockey for their last 6 games.

The fact that CBJ can get in with a worse winning% than they had all year and go 3-3-1 means Toronto needs A LOT of help, that's not including Washington and New Jersey who can both pass Toronto when games in hand are played(both can pass TO with 2 wins their next 2 games) and everybody is at 78 games.

If CBJ beats Chicago(minus Kane and Toews) and NYI they put Toronto 5 back at 78 games each...4 left to play.

I've said it for a while now. Leafs have the easiest schedule of them all. No back to back, a four games home stand and a trip to Florida.

Columbus has a hard schedule and back to back games. The only thing they have over the Leafs is they are not the Leafs.
