Leafs are pure garbage. They've been garbage all year but were being saved by their goalies. They allow close to 40 shots every game. You want to give a top 3 offensive team one of the worst defensive one in the NHL?? Not thanks.

We always match up well versus Boston, but even on some years, it's doesn't work. We've been swept by them before. The Leafs, the way they've played all here and especially now, it wouldn't turn into another crazy series like last year's.

I think the Bruins would have a harder time vs the Blue Jackets, that have a very solid keeper in net, and aren't pushovers.

What I really would like is for them to face Philly. Standings can still change, so we'll see what happens.

Jesus ****ing Christ!

You have to come to a Habs fan forum to read so-called fans of their team hoping for a loss or saying they don't care if their team loses

Habs need to keep on winning and to beat the Wings for their confidence and to come in the playoffs red hot.

The Wings can catch up on Toronto later

Well if that isn't just the worst logic I've ever read.
Well, i understand his point. When is the last time we dominated a game from start to finish? I really, really, really don't remember.

We deserved to lose easily half of those games in that streak (meaning the 6 - 1 record), especially the Boston one. Shootouts won't save us in the playoffs.

Colombus violated us.

We have one good offensive line. and 3 3rd lines. 2 Great defensemen, a top 4, and the rest are 6-7 material. only one forward with more than 50 pts. (two including Vanek) Couldn't score on Buffalo on a double minor penalty. PP is atrocious.

Now that you've read this, does that scream playoffs to you?

Probably not. But hey here we are. I don't know how they do it, but they find a way. But let's be real for minute here.

Just win, baby! We need these points for home ice advantage. Who cares about the Leafs?

I want to crush Detroit. Actually I want the Habs to crush "A" team. Any team. Dominating a team has been rather rare these days.
Besides, I would love to have a Habs vs Leafs playoff series (and watch the Habs crush the Leafs). That would hurt the Leafs (and fans) way more than them missing the playoffs (albeit, can't see the Leafs getting past a round in order to match up with us...).

The leafs are the worst of those 3 teams IMO, Columbus is being underrated and they are a very hard team to play against while Detroit is incredibly experienced, full of playoffs performers and well coached.

@ArponBasu is my favorite. I'd suggest Dave Stubbs, but he's a huge cheerleader for the Habs. He always has a politically correct nice guy tweet.

Detroit is also out of space in the infirmary. I want their match up to be "tough" physically not necessarily hard to compete against. I don't think any bottom team stand any chance vs the Bs TBH.

As long as we're not playing against Columbus or Washington, I hope we crush the Wings as I'm not too worried about them not making the playoffs over the Leafs.

Last game of the season is against them and we'll undoubtably be resting players so they can have their freebee then. Until then, I hope we crush them!

You guys can win both games in regulation and we still won't do anything with the opportunity

We don't need your help missing the playoffs, we can just put super sieve Reimer in net!

But... yeah, win both games in regulation pls

I personally would like a convincing Habs win...enough of this cheering against the Leafs garbage, sure I will be as happy as anyone if they end the season 10 game losing streak, but I would like the Habs to build some confidence, also a little posturing vs. a divisional rival would also help the psyche going into the playoffs. WIN GHG

Let's win this one strongly, the Leafs don't need our help to screw their playoff chances over.

Same logic that people use for first-line players. When you read many people it sounds as anything below PPG is not a first-line player. A first-line player must not just play on the first-line for practically his whole career, he also must carry his team on his back more often than not.

A playoff team must not just be in the playoff, they must be a top contender for the cup too!

Hint : there is 90 first-line players in the league and 16 playoff teams. Habs surely deserve to be one of those. Doesn't make us a top contender.

I want a Canadiens win tonight for purely selfish reasons -- I will be at the game. Go Habs!

BTW, Guy Lapointe was spotted at Compuware Arena last night during the Plymouth - Guelph OHL playoff game -- our radio color commentator met him and told me. Unfortunately, I did not see Guy around the arena myself.
