Rinaldo finds seams and does a damn fine job making passes. If Vinny sticks on that line, I could see 6 - 8 points between them both before the season's through.

I only watched the third period tonight but he didn't look bad to me. I actually thought he hasn't been too bad over the last 10 games or so.

Big night for us... we won, and all the teams we needed to lose did.

He definitely was a lot better but i still thought he was a tad soft in his own zone. But He should dominate the other teams 4th liners for the rest of the season and still put up points on the PP. only 1 game but looks to be the ideal situation.

Had to go out for dinner tonight.

Someone tell me everything that happened during the game!

If the Flyers could stay out of the box the Simmer Schenn McGinn line would have gotten more of the minutes. Everyone on the 4th line played well and thus probably let Berube just roll with 4 lines.
I agree in that the Couturier line in effect is the 2nd line in that they get a ton of ES TOI due to being out against the oppositions top lines all night. However I would agree that it is a problem that Hall (11:12) Vinny (12:29) and Rinaldo (11:30) all had more ES TOI then Simmonds (9:09) Schenn (9:52) and McGinn (8:13)

Anyone got a picture of Hartnell from the pregame with his hair gelled up like Phaneuf's?

Did you miss the part where Giroux made a point to say how awesome he thought he was? It's clear the team respects him.

I'm not saying he's great, but the team seems to believe in him, and that counts for something.

I almost don't want to reply to you because I feel like I have to talk down to you for you to understand...and even then you'll never admit you were wrong... but I'll try.

The guy you responded to, and you as well, clearly don't understand what I was saying so making a comment like yours just makes you look silly. I didn't say anything about the Read-Couts-Raffl line, I was talking about how Rinaldo-Vinny-Hall (the 4th line)all had more playing time than McGinn-Schenn-Simmonds (not the 4th line). I understand why the Couts line plays more, it makes sense, but what doesn't make sense is why the Schenn line played less than the 4th line.

This guy understood what I was saying:

If the two of you are going to try to disagree with me and then take jabs at me you should at least make some sense so you don't embarrass yourself, as you did.

If it was directed at the players I would. Leafs fans must be in the dumps right now. Go flames go!
I came here to see if you guys noticed how **** our captain is as well. Sigh, our team is gutless. I would give anything to have Simmonds on our team. Or anything to have Dion off of it lol. I dont consider you guys cup favorites but at least if you are ever going to go down you are going to go down fighting and make their lives hell. Kind of reminds me of the leafs last year.

Didn't even realize it was that big of a difference. I just looked over quick. Even though I thought they played well tonight (Vinny Line) they shouldn't be getting more ES mins. I didn't particularly notice it during the game that they played so little until you posted it. I was just going to assume the special teams and rolling with 4 lines made up the difference but hopefully the ES toi will shift next game.

That was what I was saying, that's why I have no clue why you were lecturing me about the Couts line. I never mentioned them at all.

What I don't get is berube's protection of the timeout. There was an instance where we had our fourth line out there tired against their fresh top line for a defensive zone face off. That's what a time out is for. Use it.
