I guess if the Kings really did want to get Colin White they might be able to pull another JR type of a deal.

I am just saying if we did he would probably only cost a bag of pucks to get. Right now NJ is at $35 million with 6 left to sign. Including White, Friesen and Elias.

Why do we want another stay at home guy? Do you know what our second PP unit is going to look like if we don't add another solid puckmover? Yeah, that's right. Aaron Miller will be on it.

No way Mogilny's worth that much. I thought Lou Lam was supposed to be a *good* GM.

The Devils have Oliwa and Langdon under contract that are both eating up a combined total of $1.286 million in salary cap space. They must also re-sign defensemen Paul Martin and Colin White (with a slight possibility of Scott Stevens returning). Patrik Elias and Jeff Friesen must also be re-signed. The Devils are a bit over $35M currently without those players.

The Kings could look to swing a deal for one of the Devils enforcers and/or one of their defensemen (without having to trade Cammalleri!). The Kings would then possibly have to look at shedding a couple of contracts or demoting a few players (Armstrong in particular. Corvo can either serve as the 7th dman if another defenseman is acquired or he can be dealt with the Kings using Weaver at the 7th spot).

I think Gleason or one of Bure/Demitra will get some 2nd pp time on the point.

why dont people want colin white again? If we can get White for a reasonable price and dump Miller or just let him go after this year, wouldnt that be a fairly good move?

It all depends on the price.

But you know AM doesn't like to be short a defenseman, and White seems to rack up the PIM's as a good stay at home defenseman. I don't think AM would want him.
