I'm pretty sure this is just a fan only thing, right? An award like the Baker would be voted on by media or coaches.

"The fans' vote accounts for 1 percent of the total ballot in each phase of selecting this year's winner."

Not too many votes overall so far... but comfortably 2nd after Gadreau is pretty good.

2nd is not too bad so far. Johnny Hockey is quite the player too.

Yeah. Not to take away from the purpose of the thread but Gaudreau is averaging 2 PPGs. At least he is a local guy.

Voted for him.

As a side note, I'd LOVE to get Gaudreau from Calgary.

Johnny Gaudreau - 726
Ben Hutton - 584
Shayne Gostisbehere - 535
Dillon Simpson - 431
Andrew Copp - 348
Adam Wilcox - 330

EDIT: To make it clear, I believe Gostisbehere only needs to finish in the top 10 in voting to move on to the next phase.

I like him a lot. But small finesse players like him are totally hit or miss.

Yes, he should be pursued by NHL teams after the year as an undrafted free agent.

He was also at a few of the Flyers prospect camps over the last couple of years.

Yep.

23 in 24 this year from D.

He has been at a few Flyers camps I believe. Definitely one anyway.

How is that relevant on winning the Hobey Baker? The kid is dominating college hockey.

I never said it was. I am just doubting his NHL potential.

Trevor is probably going to need time in the AHL, but I he definitely has a better shot at making the NHL then the last NHL brother the Flyers had Blake Kessel.
Probably would not bet on the Flyers signing Trevor.
