He already had a badly bruised leg before he got the puck to his chin.

It looks like they will make the playoffs so there is no reason to completely **** up their #1 defenseman before it really counts? Let him rest and nurse his injuries for a couple of days. It will pay off!

I'm okay with sitting Kimmo til the playoffs as long as Columbus doesn't pass us in the meantime.

A point out of this game would be great, I'm more concerned about the Columbus game on Thursday.

At least we have Florida, Buffalo and Carolina at the end of this stretch if the Blues, Jackets and Bruins games don't go well.

Holy ****....

Does Grossmann have an evil, revenge seeking, axe wielding brother?

I think I would die from laughter if Gill were in instead of Gus. Almost makes me wish it's the case.

Jim Jackson is doing the Devils-Panthers game on NBCSN tonight. What a traitor!

That was mentioned...the game at NYR, IIRC. I don't think anything more came of it.

They mentioned it a few times during the Bruins game too.

I'll take "least likely pairing to have any offense at all ever" for 400 Alex!

Berube will have Gus play the most ES minutes for Flyers' defenders and then scratch him for the next game. It's only natural.

What? Gus is pretty good offensively and Coburn doesn't have an amazing shot but he's not Grossmann. They'll be perfectly fine.

If they beat the Blues again does this make them contenders down the road?

Yeah, that was my bad, I read that as being Coburn + Grossman for some reason.

Stuff of nightmares really.

And again during the Bruins game. He's playing hurt but lots of people are at this point in the season.

Yes.

Mason will have to be red hot though to beat Blues at home, getting points tonight will be HUGE going into that Jackets game Thursday.

I really hope Miller plays. I feel like he's never been that great against us.

That was reported yesterday, his stuff wasn't packed with the rest of the team and he apparently has an upper-body injury.

How many people reported it? Maybe it's just an elaborate set-up.

Not sure, but I doubt this is an April Fools joke. If you're gonna set something up early might as well be something better than an aging vet needs to take a game off..
