Toffness. Ok maybe not, but the couple fights he has been in he's completely unloaded on the other guy.

We need someone other than McDonagh to be an offensive threat.

Alex Smith, former 49ers QB would disagree.

At this point it has to be Diaz. I've really liked what I've seen from him so far. He has puck moving skills and a great shot. Offensively he could be our second best D man. We need this.

The righty and righty on the third pair. Diaz and Klein never played left before now. Moore is a lefty. The Rangers always seem to have this issue. Its either too many righties or not enough righties. They had Girardi, Roszival,Sauer and Gilroy in 10-11. Gilroy played left. Staal and DZ were the lefties. McD was in the AHL. This season DZ or Moore had to play on the right side. They acquired 2 righties and now are playing 4 with Moore out. Falk hasn't played since December.

I'd love to dress seven, but that will be hard to justify when Kreider comes back and we have to choose between Kreider/Miller, Carcillo/Dorsett.

Was that his fault or MDZ's?

Maybe it was Moore's fault MDZ sucked.

Prob both, I just think out of these 3, J.Moore is unquestionably the weakest link; that's not meant as a knock on him, I just don't see what he brings other than being left-handed, and having our #6 defensemen play his off-side really isn't a big deal to me.

Yeah, Diaz may struggle playing the left side. Guess what? So does Moore.

Diaz's shot and his PP presence are too good (relatively) to just leave on the bench. We need what he brings.

Dress 7, we don't need both Carcillo and Dorsett up front. I want to see Diaz and Moore on the PP.

I agree. Moore was playing well, and I'd like to see if he can continue the momentum. He's still just 23 and very talented, so I'd like for him to get as much game action as possible. Diaz, by the same token, has looked very solid for us in his limited action. I'd rather dress both.

Talk of Klein being anything less than solid seems silly to me.

Agreed. I think Stralman has earned a raise. It wont be the Rangers giving it to him. For now, I carry 7.

If they play Philly in Round 1, they will most likely need both.

Moore is a dumb player but he's got promise. Diaz is a smarter player. Much smarter.

I don't dress 7. No way. The 4th line has played too well.

Used to be shortage of RHD, now there's a surplus.

Keep Diaz. Moore sucks on the PP.
