Nice to have you here. Could you bring Giordano with you for the playoffs?

Columbus clearly has the edge over the Flyers this season so far. Time to strike back and beat them when it counts most!

Kimmo back in like expected and Gus back with Gill. Same lines as in St Louis.

I know Vinny might not like it, but with him on the fourth line, they present some serious matchup problems for opposing teams. He gets some quality minutes against other fourth lines and third pairs. Plus, guys like Rinaldo and Hall are willing to do a lot of the heavy lifting for him along the walls and behind the net.

You realize that there are requirements for being a Flyers fan right? Even if it's only temporary. If it was around Christmas you could throw a few snowballs at Santa Claus but since it's not, the quickest route is probably to just sack and pillage a small town. That should get you in.

Not saying Vinny will be traded or anything but one interesting think I could see happening next year is having Laughton on the 4th line as well with Vinny. It will not be your typical fourth line of course but it would be pretty interesting to see he could do with some young skill+ hard forechecking against other teams weakest defense. If they succeed then you will have better defensive players on that line and it could open up the chances for other line.

Hartnell-Giroux-Voracek
????-Schenn-Simmonds
Raffl-Couts-Read
Laughton-Vinny-Rinaldo

Only would need to find a second line winger in the off season. Wouldn't be a bad lineup but I would be afraid of that 4th line being hemmed in their own zone. Laughton is a very smart player though and good defensively.

I think it could definitely work. The only problem is that they probably don't want their second highest paid forward playing on the fourth line, but I couldn't care less as long as he's playing at a high level. Teams like Boston and Chicago have had a ton of success running fourth lines with guys that are more than just traditional fourth liners. Hell, Boston might have the best fourth line in hockey, and that's because guys like Campbell and Paille are capable of playing in an offensive role if need be. They provide some excellent secondary scoring because of it.

If Vinny is still here next year I'd like to see

Schenn-Giroux-Voracek
Hartnell-Vinny-Simmonds
Raffl-Couturier-Read
Rinaldo-Laughton-Hall

I'd really rather not have Laughton move to wing if he doesn't need to. Vinny can't play wing so put him at center and move Schenn to the 1st line so he can get more minutes and play with two players who are good at what he isn't, puck possession. It's like JVR, he's not going to break out until he gets more minutes with better linemates.

"Virus" is what Pronger had and I believe other players as well. It then comes out he has had a concussion. Homer never likes to say that nasty "concussion" word.

Not saying he had one, just saying it puts the fear of god in me when I hear the words virus in any player diagnosis on the Flyers.

The "good" news is that they publicly admitted that Downie was experiencing concussion-like symptoms, so this actually may have been a virus.

If we'd happen to fall into the wild card by seasons end, what are the scenarios for us to meet Pitt and Boston? Obviously we want Pitt, and realistically would rather play them than NYR.

Can we agree to give each other a point and play for the other? I am not concerned with catching you guys, quite frankly I dont think we deserve it, I just want to be able to witness some playoff hockey. A little would be appreciated.

Hoping thats where Mase comes in...
