Thanks! I'll also gradually edit the free agent post.

By the way, here are a few interesting rumors :

-Harry Young wasn't offered a qualifying offer by New Jersey but he'll probably remain in the organisation :

Harry Young will sign an AHL contract.
-Tom McCollum will likely sign a one year, two-way, contract with Detroit.

Quote:
When goaltender Tom McCollum struggled during his first three seasons with Grand Rapids, it appeared he was a first-round bust for the Detroit Red Wings.

But McCollum bounced back strong the past two seasons and is coming off his best year in the AHL. As a result, the Red Wings will sign him to a one-year, two-way NHL contract. They are still discussing the money.

"McCollum has made strides and is developing into the prospect we hoped he would be -- a little slower than we thought, but he's become a real solid AHL goaltender," Red Wings general manager Ken Holland said earlier this month. . "Some players bloom a little later."

McCollum posted a 24-12-4 record, with a 2.30 goals-against average and .922 save percentage, in 2013-14 with the Griffins, when he was signed to an AHL contract.http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index....ning_goal.html
-Tim Spencer has signed a AHL deal with an unannounced team. He spent the past year playing in England.

Quote:
Steelers fan favourate Tim Spencer won't be back with the club next year despite the efforts of head coach Gerad Adams.

Spencer has accepted a full time American league contract to remain in the United States

Grand Rapids Griffins sign F Shane Berschbach to an AHL contract.

http://www.griffinshockey.com/news/r...rticle_id=2843

Quote:
Berschbach, 23, previously spent four seasons with Western Michigan from 2010-14, collecting 117 points (39-78—117) in 146 career collegiate games. The Clawson, Mich. native potted 38 points (16-22—38) in 40 contests with the Broncos during the 2013-14 season, earning him NCHC Offensive Player of the Week honors on three separate occasions. Last season, he also appeared in three games with the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings, tallying one goal and one assist.

For the Free Agents post :
-Brad Thiessen (Norfolk) signs a one year contract with Anaheim.
-Corbin McPherson (Albany) signs a one year contract with New Jersey.
-Will O'Neill (St. John's) signs a one year contract with Winnipeg.
-Cal O'Reilly (Utica) signs a one year contract with Vancouver.
-Nick Larson (Bridgeport) signs with Orlando (ECHL).
-Mike Litte (Norfolk) signs with Florida (ECHL).

Brendan Ranford will mostly likely play with the Texas Stars this year but he'll be signed to a ELC instead of a AHL contract.
http://stars.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=725252

Also it appears that Texas Stars' captain Maxime Fortunus will be in Cedar Park next season. Fortunus was originally signed to a two-year contract by Texas last July, however despite the fact that he was signed to a one-year contract by Dallas in December, it seems that the second year of his original AHL deal is still valid.

It looks like Abbotsford has signed Mathieu Tousignant to an AHL deal.

from the Calgary Flames site
Quote:
The Flames also announced that they have signed goaltender Brad Thiessen, defenseman Sena Acolatse and forward Mathieu Tousignant (AHL contract).
The first two have NHL deals, per capgeek, so it looks like the AHL contract is just for Tousignant.

note, Abbotsford no longer exists, Caley, hasn't since mid-June or when the Heat were eliminated, they're now the Adirondack Flames

Olson played for Abbotsford last season. He didn't have a contract with the Flames' organization for this coming season so there's no reason to make any reference to Adirondack here.

same organization, Mike, so where's Abbotsford in the league directory, then?, it's Adirondack, has been since the relocation and buyout, deal.

Same organization - different times and realities. It's historical record that Olson played for Abbotsford last season. He stopped playing for the organization when Abby became Addy. He was never a part of the new Adirondack incarnation.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the EIHL. I'm only curious because he played for the Phantoms last year and he was the only guy on the teams whose autograph I was unable to get for my sons team poster c
