Who will be the #1 scorer this year for the habs?

[Not including the Austrian]

As of 3/20/2014

Who will finish 1st?

Does it matter for this team?

If DD and Pacioretty get going with Vanek I say Pacioretty. For now I vote Subban.

wouldnt vote for him any more than DD, 5 pts behind with only a dozen games left is a lot.

Even considering DD's slump at the beginning of the season? Nah this is a 3 man race im not asking whos going to be #1 #2 and #3, this is about #1 in 12 games Markov would need a least to be 1.40 PPG to pass the leader who will probably end up in the 53-58pts range.

Maybe I should of made a thread about who between DD and Markov is going to get the most pts... oh well

well 5 pts in 12 games is 0.41 PPG, so he'll need a PPG of 0.41 more than P.K. to tie it.

So youre making the case that it's only a two man race, okay. I agree, I voted PK, but Desharnais does have slight chances and those chances diminish even more for Markov.

Now that Pacioretty has someone to who he can pass the puck, he will finish first (he's not a world class passer obviously but he's not bad).

In terms of PPG pace, Patches is ahead of everyone else.

Last time (2011-12) Pacioretty reached the 30 goals plateau, he then had an 11 games stretch without a goal.

Now, he hasn't scored in 6 games since reaching 30 goals. I really thought he had a chance at 40 when he was at 30 goals in 55 games. At least he's getting some assists.

I'll say Subban because he's a bit more consistent than Pacioretty.

I think Subban gonna finish strong with a few massive games where he's gonna rack up a few goals and many assists. Subban will finish with close to 60 points.

Pacioretty is due for an EN goal and a subsequent 6 goal in 4 game stretch soon.
