Scoring another goal after that one, even if it is your own, still counts.

Weaver played 55 games for Florida had 6 assists and a -9
He has played 13 games for the Habs and has 1G 5A and is a +7

I like this guy, a RH version of Josh Gorges

I'd consider it too to be honest. And I'm of the belief you can't have too many D.

I love Subban, but fact is he was benched when being on the ice for 2 goals, in an early 3-0 deficit. Then he sat and watched the team tie it up. Hate to say it but makes Therrien look like he knew what he was doing.

Anyway, I hope it works out and he stays here. He did steady things down from the second on. But let's not kid ourselves either, he hasn't been playing well lately. He needs to be better come playoffs.

Character gets made fun of a lot here. This game showed the character of the Habs who did not fold up, roll over and think about the flight home.

The other bright spot was how well this team has jelled as a team. Chucky taking up for Gally against the biggest ***** in the NHL. Tinordi taking out frustrations on Gryba to stand up for Briere. Gally taking up for Pleks against Neil. Parros blowing in Smith's ear and making him look like a bully who only picks on smaller players. And finally, Parros taking Neil off at the end so the game ended with a whimper.

How in the hell can you ***** about a game like this?

Getting owned in faceoffs and shots and virtually everything.

The habs didn't quit and that's good on them, but the win comes from Anderson being terrible.

Montreal needs to play better. Bishop isn't a crap goalie like Anderson.

True. Weaver is down breaking a play up, blocking a shot, or wiping out.

Diaz is down because he's weak as **** and someone pushed him over easily.

For our team? I wouldn't say so. For another team? I think it's possible. As explosive as Max looks because of the size of body that's moving, Kessel moves and pulls the trigger even quicker and slicker than Max.

Here, Erie was down 1-0 and scored 4 unanswered goals to win 4-1.

Do you people need more proof that it's only 6, or ?

PK has not played well going on about 3 months. There was a time when I thought he was worth an 8 year deal worth 8Mil per. Not sure now. I would throw that type of money at Vanek though for 7 years.

what a game by Patches. I can't believe we've got him locked up so cheap. It'll hurt when we're without Vanek once more, but I'm sure he'll still manage 30 regardless of who his other winger ends up being.

Yeah, Weise is by no means on the same level of importance as Weaver and Vanek, but he's been really solid on the 4th line and it's been nice to have a real crash and bang 4th line when Moen and Prust were playing with him.

IMO, Patches is better at defense than Kessel.

Yeah no kidding. Vanek is much, much better overall than I thought. I was expecting a guy that only thinks about scoring. Holy crap man. He is one smart playmaker. Didn't realize he was that good. Physical too.

4th also is VERY fast with Dutch Gretzky. His speed is unreal.

Yeah, I don't remember Diaz blocking any shots. Weaver's doing a good job, don't get me wrong, but he gets pushed down at least as much as Diaz. Did you not see Weaver get tossed into Budaj on the goal that got disallowed?? Not the only time since joining the team, lol. He just pushes back more often than Diaz, I guess, and optics are important to people.

Yeah if all of those guys are able to come back healthy for the playoffs it would be a huge help.

Yeah, now that he is a Hab I get to really watch him. Before all I saw was a goal scorer. Did not realize he was such a complete player.

NHL.COM POST GAME. http://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/en/rec...navid=sb:recap

OTTAWA -- Max Pacioretty had five points, including his third hat trick of the season, and the Montreal Canadiens scored seven unanswered goals in a 7-4 win against the Ottawa Senators on Friday.

It's really not that big of deal, Just wanted to match your links

Dude, nothing against Diaz, but he's a ringette player compared to Weaver.
