Are there any high end wooden sticks out there?

I can't find any high end wood sticks anywhere. I prefer wood over composite but the only good wooden Sticks that I see are cheap 20$ ones. I'm willing to spend money on a high end stick but I can't find any and I would appreciate if anyone had any information on if these exist.

I don't care if they are reinforced with anything I just want a high quality wooden stick. Didn't Paul Stastny use a wooden stick?

What do you consider high end? The Sherwood 5030 is one of the most famous of all time and is still readily available. Any Sherwood dealer can get them for you if they dont already have them.

I think by high end he just mean something that's not a 20$ piece of garbage

This. Unless you absolutely need a blade pattern that's not offered (in which case I think wood blade/composite shaft is really the way to go), I see no reason to pay any more for a wood stick than for a 5030.

I personally still use 5030s to this day. Can't really go wrong. I do miss those black 7030s though.

i know they make composite one piece 5030s. has anyone tried them?

i have several one piece sticks but i still find myself using the 5030 to this day, especially when i know i'm going to play defense. love that curve, doesn't open at the toe at all so its real easy to keep your shots from the point low. i hate how many sticks nowadays look like pitching wedges.

but yeah to answer OP's question if you haven't tried the 5030, try one. regardless of what they cost they are the gold standard of wooden sticks, IMO.

Sherwood 5030, Coffey curve. Pure devastation.
