So they obviously start on a new set for the playoffs, right? Do they wear that same set through the Finals?

The Avs started wearing their jerseys they'll be wearing in the playoffs on March 8th (Home) and March 16th (Away).

They wear new jerseys in the Finals and wear them until a team has won 3 games. At that point they will get another new set.

Very interesting, thanks. Makes sense they'd create two finals sets.

Great. Tyson Barrie has 4 assists and two game winning goals in the jersey that I own.

Hi guys, diehard Avs fan since day one here and was fortunate enough to watch Nathan MacKinnon growing up and playing since he was a kid, including every home game for the Mooseheads! I managed to get the first four rookie MacKinnon jerseys in Nova Scotia, and had my friend who works with the Halifax Mooseheads text Nathan while he was home during the Olympic break and ask if he could come to the rink and sign them. He didn't even hesitate, texted back and said he'd be in the next day (the day before he flew back to Colorado)! Just thought I'd let you guys know what a genuinely good kid he is - Nova Scotian attitude, through and through!
Repost from the last thread, just because I had a few people inquire about the jerseys and I've been away at work since!

And impulse buy it is. Just bought the EJ jersey he was wearing tonight. Was on the fence. After he saved that goal, it was over.

For future reference, if you see a photo on Getty Images that you like of either Barrie or Johnson you can email photofile.com with the Photo ID# and they'll add it to the website so you can buy a print of it.

Pending a negative response from Barry at Meigray, I just switched my Lecavalier Set Two preorder to a Matt Read Orange Set 3/Playoff and Paul Stastny Burgundy Set 3/Playoff.

I also added one of their Grab Bags, which hopefully yields a great jersey. Here are the details about it:

If I had an extra $595 hanging around I'd be all over that.

Good thing it's only $495

I originally didn't want one but the Lecavalier preorder was $1995 so I had to work with equal or greater value to that. Originally I thought Couturier and Stastny but then saw that Read+Stastny would allow me to add a grab bag all for the same price as the Lecavalier, was too good of a deal to pass up.

The Stastny was a no brainer after last night.

Cool info, let us know who you got in the grab bag. Just curious, why would the Landy jersey retail more than Duchene? Is it just year of the jersey?

It could have something to do with him being Captain of the team.

He's the Captain and less years in the league meaning less gamers are out there of his. Those are my guesses. Most players you'll see have a high price and the longer they're with the team the prices will start to dip as there are more out there.

I wish I bought more O'Reilly game worns before he broke out 2 seasons ago. I practically stole them! $395 each at the time.

When I bought Johnson's, I looked at Stastny's that you bought. Almost went with that one.

Very nice. I got my Giroux before he completely sky rocketed. It was still expensive but $1,750 compared to $3,500, was a steal. Also, was during his 90 point season.

Either one you couldn't go wrong with. So we got a Barrie, Johnson, and Stastny to watch here on the boards.

What jersey did Stefan Elliott wear in his game against the Ducks?

Did anyone get any of the game-worn jerseys from the home finale this year? How were those sold, was there an online auction for them? Would have liked to try to bid on one or two.

Yeah good question, which jerseys were those? Since they gave them away to fans doesn't that mess up the jersey set order?

If it's anything like the Flyers they give them away to people at the game with "randomly" selected seats chosen. The Flyers give away a bunch of stuff throughout the night. They are just worn for that night though.

Not sure if you were replying to my question, but I do know that the Islanders had an online auction prior for the game-worn jerseys in their home finale. Didn't see anything like that for the Avs, though, so what you said makes sense, if you were replying to me.

Yep. I was responding to you. The Islanders are the only team I've seen that have done that.

Regarding Elliott's jersey. I imagine he wore his White Set Three in the game against the Ducks. I'd ask Meigray though.
