Aaah I love these Florida games. Garbage team, absolutely no energy in the building, dead silence, Huberdeau and Barkov both out and Scott Frickin Gomez is their 1C.

Some poor kid is going to get drafted 4th by this franchise and waste away in anonymity for years before he can get out and have a chance at winning again. At least he'll make some good money and live in a warm climate.

Beautifully put...

I don't even know why anyone would want to live in freaking Florida for the purpose of playing hockey there. Putting on 20 lbs of protective gear every day in some dark ice bunker while it's 90 and perfect beach weather outside. Just thinking about that makes me want to hurt myself.

The Panthers are skating. One change could be Boyes is playing tonight and Gomez a possible scratch.

2/3 of what was their top line could be replaced as Bobby Butler was sent to the AHL and Drew Shore promoted. Temporary changes made in the OP listing.

Luongo is starting based on today's skate.

Last game he was. Looked good too. Gave that line much needed speed. He can also carry the puck and drive the play. Something Schenn or Vinny cant do at center.

The skate hasn't happened yet. Downie is likely to return, so lines could be changed.

His puck carrying ability is key for that line, schenn can't seem to get the puck in the zone on a consistent basis. Let raffl get it in the zone, feed schenn for the shot and Simmonds can clean up the trash

Raffl has no finish, its going to be hard to sustain offense on that line with him up there.

Hey hey hey now, I started playing ice hockey in Texas! haha

But I guess Galvestone beaches don't really compare to Florida beaches

Downie with Couturier and Read. Rosehill also scratched for McGinn. I like the the look of this possible lineup:

Hartnell-G-Voracek
Schenn-Raffl-Simmonds
Downie-Couts-Read
Hall-Lecavalier-Mcginn

Ooo, I like.

I hope they play like they did against the Sabres and not take the Panthers lightly.

Raffl has some finish. He turned Tim Thomas inside out just recently.

God, if Raffl could finish he'd be such a great player. The way it is now though when you see him get in a scoring area (and it happens a lot), you know nothings going to come of it. Guy just can't put it in the net. At all. I'm still pissed Giroux passed to him instead of shooting against Boston.

Wasn't it Raffl that had that completely open net after the puck took a weird bounce with the goalie behind the net, and then shoots it right into the goalie's glove as he's coming back? When you don't score on that opportunity..

Edit: Yep.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALT8_D5C8HU

At least the line won't spend every other shift hemmed in the defensive zone like when Vinny is on it.

That line has enough finish between Schenn and Simmonds. Raffl gives them the puck possession center they need coming through the neutral zone.

These are great lines....Raffy will score with those two guys as his wingers, if not Simmer and Schenn are finishers

Today I found out my crazy ghetto femme fatale succubus of an ex is still obsessed over me and harassing people I know even though it's been two years, I'm going to have to turn in a Psych paper late, and I'm unexpectedly crazy tired from giving blood yesterday even though I've done it several times before and been fine. Among other stressors.

Rip them a new one for me Flyers, please.

Do it for Garbage Goal Flyers.

In all seriousness not an great week for either of us it seems, so yes a Flyers victory would be nice.
