This would be amazing. Lots of storylines too with Schwartz facing his old team. Please make this happen nfl
Thats not all folks:

Fox Sports Wis. is reporting that the Bills and Packers will play each other on Monday Night Football this year. Will be interesting here.

Also if they play Thanksgiving, I think that means they won't have any other Thursday night games.

With Thanksgiving, the opposite. They're throwing the Bills and Lions obligatory Thursday game at 12:30

Monika is an unabashed sugar daddy hunter. Good for her.

I'd be fine with Golisano also. Great local businessman, got way too much flak for being 'cheap' with the Sabres. He won't care much, but he'll let guys do their job at least.

I think with how the TV rotation works the Lions were locked in to playing host to a AFC team so CBS would have the game. That meant the choice between Miami and Buffalo. Not exactly a feast.

It's how the Raiders ended up playing at Dallas last year.

Correct, it was only Buffalo or Miami. Miami has more intrigue for a Thursday night game. Everyone watches the Thanksgiving games anyway, that's why it gets worse matchups lately.

This is true, partially. The league still wants it to be a competitive game if at all possible.

Brandon was president for a whole month before getting a 5 year extension on the Toronto Series. Why?Because he is good at running a cheap organization and finding ways to make money appear out of thin air i.e The Toronto series. And just this past few months he realized the errors of his ways regarding the Toronto series and cancelled it for this season.78 mil over 5 years may seem like a lot for a team like Buffalo, but do you think about the other 25 successful teams would surrender a crucial home game every year for a mere ~15.5 million a season?

Brandon isn't a football guy he is a bean counter. And yet he is the President of the team and our former GM for 3 years.I can't wait until he is gone, and I am positive if Jacobs does buy the team he will be.He sounds like a nice guy and all but he reminds me of the Bills era from 2000-present and I want ALL traces of that team gone.

You're missing the point on this. He is not the football guy so why are you bashing him for doing his job and being a good businessman? His boss tells him to go make more money to make the franchise float he has to do it? I'm not questioning if from a competitive stand point the Toronto series helps, it's not. I'm telling you at the time it was the facts of life, and the series did exactly what they needed it to. At this point it's not necessary so he canned it.

The NFL is way too different from the NHL to assume things would go poorly under Golisano. In the NHL, Galisano had to set an internal cap to ensure he wasn't losing money; in the NFL, he can sit back not give a hoot and make a couple hundred million a year. Sounds like a great gig.

They don't make that much money.

Miami is the better team.

No, but they still make money. Buffalo has some disadvantages for sure, but their revenue discrepancy isn't much of a practical disadvantage in the NFL at this point.

Gunna cry. I wanted to go since I knew about this on Christmas week. I knew the Packers were coming and I was working on going. But MNF? Screw you NFL.

Exactly. I stretched it, but the point was that there's almost no chance of him losing money, meaning the points about how he ran the Sabres are pointless. He's going to turn a profit.

The only reason anyone would move the Bills would be to make a bigger profit, which makes it all the more ridiculous.

Wasn't he always more interested in owning a football team than hockey though? Imagine he'd be different as a Bills owner than he was as the Sabres owner.
