Spoke with Halak. He said the trade is still too fresh, didn't think he'd be able to focus on what's important: winning a game. #stlblues

It will be interesting to see how the Vancouver situation shakes out.

I'd rather we face the Jackets as well, so that means Detroit need to lose with Filth winning.

Don't care what happens to the Canucks but Gillis never struck me as competent or even as a nice person. He's always drenched in sweat when interviewed and seems to bristle and become defensive at even soft-ball questions.

If the CBJ can pass the Flyers, that'd be awesome. Jackets take that 3rd spot and stay on Pittsburgh's side of the playoff bracket and Philly goes to play Boston and to the other side of the Eastern bracket.

And just like that, CBJ allow Phoenix to tie it with under 15 seconds left. Jackets have been blowing points late in games over the past little while. Hopefully they can still get 2 points

Even so, the Blue Jackets getting 1 point is really bad for NJ, Washington, and Toronto.

Jackets win in OT. With that, Capitals are 1 loss away from being eliminated

I get the feeling the Blues are going to disappoint in the playoffs.

They'll be a tough out. But I don't see them making it to the Finals.

Bye Toronto, they are gone. Caps are almost gone, same with Devils.

Pretty much same here. I became a bit of a fan after seeing a few jackets games over several years while in the west. I'll only root against them vs. the Pens.

Anyways, nice OT win. I was loving how they played despite the late tying goal.

So at the end of the season, the league will have 1 100-point scorer and 2-4 40+ goal scorers. I still love to watch the game, but a little more scoring would be nice.

And now with the playoffs, the rules change again to (intentionally or otherwise) foster less scoring.

Wild clinch the #1 wildcard in the west. Since their players only meeting they are 5-0-1 with wins over the Kings, Pens and Bruins. I would love to see them make some noise in the west. It's hard not to like the make up of that team. They are playing the game that I wish the Pens would play. Hats off to Yeo, he has them primed and ready for next week.

You misspelled Rask... On the Wild's game tying goal.

I don't know if they've got the game breakers to win it all. I don't know, they're an incredibly deep team, but they don't have that one star or couple of stars that can go into beast mode when goals are tough to come by.

When's the last Stanley Cup winner that didn't have a single elite offensive player on their roster? Boston is the first thought, but even then they strike me as a team with more offensive upside than the Blues.
