Man really need a mathematician here to help me out!!!....

hahaha...

I'm no mathematician, but I suspect the Habs' lineup right now is good for about 2.5 goals a game. Not much more. Which means that Theo will have to do miracles to keep the team competitive. Might as well go to Ste.Anne and light up a couple of candles.

2.5 goals per game = 205

That's sound about right to me , even optimistic

Just kidding (50%) because I really think this team is less than 200 goals this season. Let's hope I'm wrong

What's happening with Bulis ? I thought he would build up on last season and become a decent scorer. And how long Audette and Perreault will be around ?

I say 2.5 will be too optimistic, but last year, our GA is very bad, around 2.8 gpg if i not remember wrong... If we can keep our GA low, it will not be so bad. Theo did it b4, really need him to step up again...

Hey guys a little question for you.Who do you think will have a more major role with the Habs Begin or Langdon,And Im not saying who will score the more goals but Im asking who do you think will be more Importnat for the Habs.BTW I had nothing to do and decide to do the Lineup I think Montreal could have when everybody will be healthy

Zednik-Koivu-Audette
Bulis-Ribeiro-Ward
Hossa-Perreault-Sundstrom
Langdon-Kilger-Ryder(Personnaly I really love this line)

So we have Dwyer,Begin,Juneau,Dackell who will also be trying to get some Icetime.Personnaly I find this number too high but that's just my opinion

2.5 is feasable if Zednik gets his 30 goals. Pure statistical probability. It will be between 2.2 and 2.5 IMHO. Is it good? Not even close.

You must talke Souray's goal production into consideration, look's like he may get 10% of the teams production at his pace. :handclap

Shots on net have been 28-15 in favour of the habs... we're actually doing pretty well in that respect. I was expecting very little, seeing as we're playing the Wild and all!

In the 2nd we got 15 shots on (vs. 6 for MIN), and in the 3rd it's 6-2 for us (shots). Neat. Very different from last time.

That's incredibly good! Does anybody know what kind of lineup the Wild brought to Montreal?

hi

PRE-SEASON

You are really getting under my skin now. Pre-season.. sure. It's still hockey. I'll get into a game whether it's a regular season game or pre season game. Whether it gets us two points or not. These games determinate which players will actually be here when regular season comes around. These games *matter*. Just because there are no points involved doesn't make these games useless.

If we won all our games 5-0 everygame all 9, i would STILL be saying it, get it in your head ok?

Kid???? How old are you, man?

I guess you've never played hockey before. You don't start suddenly to play with intensity. It's not a switch you turn on or off that easy. You need to gain momentum in your play to have it on. To do so, you need to start the engine a couple of games before the start of the season. Granted, the first 5-6 games were just for the kids. And it showed. But the last 2 are the crucial ones. Just read Julien's comments today and you'll learn a bit or two about managing a hockey team.

Five of our players get injured. We can't score more than one goal in 10 straight games. And I should not be worried? If no one can score now, what guarantees they will score when season starts? If we aren't giving our best efforts, keep in mind that other teams aren't either. Calling me a dumbass was a great argument, by the way. Amazing even.
