Would have preferred someone who could fill a top 9 position and bring at least a bit of offense...

Andrighetto or Leblanc would have been my choice.

MIKE BLUNDEN OUR SAVIOUR!

WE ARE DESTINED FOR THE CUP NOW!

In all seriousness this is just precautionary if Moen, Prust and Eller won't be ready for the playoffs. I expect him to play tomorrow vs NYR but if Eller is ready he is going to the press box.

Best to stay away from here... unless the team is winning.

So much drama.

Plan the... throwing of the chair.

Nothing rationnal in that, but nothing screams Cunneyworth like Mike Blunden.

Blunden has a decent amount of points with the Dogs this season and at least has some NHL experience. Are you guys really okay with adding another guy under 5'10 (Andrighetto) to a team with Gionta, Briere and Gallagher playing regularly and Bouillon being dressed somewhat often?

Try complaining less everyone, it feels great!

I'd be cool with it if he was called up to coach the team, but actually play? Pass.

haters gonna hate

Blunden is way better than Perros. It was sad to watch against NYL. And the refs did him a favor against OTT sending both him and Neil off the ice in a never seen before let me check the rulebook wtff moment.

Unlike Parros, Blunden will skate hard and drive the net. He will also be able to pick his man on the back-check.

So Boston calls up players like Spooner, sits Bergeron and play him with Marchand and Smith. Instead of calling up Andriguetto and putting him on our top 9 to see how he'd do, we call up Blunden for our 4th line. Who cares about Blunden, for real..

Yes. I'd take a talented player ahead of a 4th line grinder anyday of the week.

My preference:

1. Andrighetto
2. Leblanc (although I think his career will probably go nowhere)
3. Dumont
4. Holland
5. St-Pierre
6. Blunden

Blunden was never even nearly as mean or intimidating as Crisp, nor has Crisp ever even been as close to as good a skater. Almost as if being big is the only thing they have in common

I rather dress 7D or play Beaulieu as a forward than having Blunder.

Patrick Holland likely doesn't have an NHL career in him.

Blunden has NHL size which helps him and the habs out if he is to play in the playoffs.

I have NHL size. It means little on it's own.

Blunden is near parros levels of awful.

Well, considering DD is playing for us... don't we all have NHL size?

He's a pretty boy. He's big but he's not tough, he floats and he'll find himself on the offense on the occasion that his linemates carry the play. Literally any of us on HF could do this job.

He is a really good skater, though.
