The Penguins just became Rangers' fans.

It's head related, it was officially ruled an upper body injury.

Nice win!
Hope they only kept Mase out for precautionary reasons and he'll be fine after a couple of days off.

Flery scored on himself lmao.

Though tbf if he did not get his stick on it Couturier was free at the backdoor...

but he should have just gone post to post and hoped...

as he only just got a stick on it, it was quite a way out, and if he had missed completely Couturier had an open net anyway!

He wouldn't have finished the period if he blew out his knee...

Wasn't there a report saying it's upper body - which would indicate a concussion, seeing how heavy the impact was and how his head snapped back.

It is a shame we do not play the Pens in the first round.

But we are going nowhere if Mason has a concussion and he was playing amazing today.

I hope Mason is ok because Emery starting in th playoffs is a scary thought. I respect Razor because he's a battler but that hip condition really killed his lateral movement.

I think Megna played ~1 shift after Giroux said he better call the sheriff...

He actually looked scared when G, Hartnell and Simmonds were chirping him.

Great game by Giroux, Voracek, Couturier, MacD, Coburn, and a few others.

**** the Penguins players, organization, city, fanbase, and the refs.

A special **** you to Emery for being the biggest piece of garbage to ever play on this team. If Berube plays him one more time or says anything positive about him then I'm convinced he's the dumbest coach in the league.

Better call up Heeter and let him play tomorrow so he can have at least some experience at the NHL level before the playoffs

Emery has the mobility of a barnacle. I hope Mason is ok or it'll be a quick playoffs.

Yeh... Ray still has good positioning when he gets a chance to set, and a good glove...

but he is so slow it is awful.

He was an excellent NHL goalie before his hip... now he is a below average backup.

Some people know it is spring when they see their first blue Jay

I know it is spring when I start seeing Marc-Andre Fleury start scoring important goals on himself

Megan in his hockey 2 shift fantasy camp runs Mase, **** him. It's either shoulder or concussion IMO as he finished strong after the hit, wouldn't be possible with knee.

Needed that Mase win as I have him in for fantasy final, win today would of sealed the win for me.

Loser penguins fans are happy we are playing the rags. I wish we could play the pens first round and send them golfing again early.

Time to buck up Flyguys and get ready for the playoffs!

I hope this isn't too dumb of a question but does anyone know if goalies get concussed less often than skaters? It seems like despite the rubber missiles targeting them constantly, there's a lot less rattling of the brain in the skull since they don't see regular contact with other players. Maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but anyone know how many goalies a year get the dreaded C word?

That's got to be a troubling sight for Penguins' fans.
