Don't sleep on Columbus against them. Hoping Columbus wins so that they can avoid Boston. I think CBJ/PIT and DET/BOS are better matchups as well

Giroux and Voracek were awesome.

Couturier did a great job on Crosby yet again... in the last three games he has no points when Couturier has been out vs him.

Definitely agree. Det/Bos would be great.

Maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but anyone know how many goalies a year get the dreaded C word?
I don't have any statistics, but I goalies don't get hit in the head/mask with a puck all that often.

I think when they are concussed by a shot it's usually pretty severe.

I feel like Columbus has the right tools to beat the Penguins in the playoffs. Though I think the Penguins have had Columbus' number in the regular season. Could be a good series.

Agreed. He does a fantastic job when paired against Crosby. Nevertheless, I am sure, Crosby has an assist on Neal's goal.

Edit: LOL, completely missed the part where you wrote "when he's out against him". My bad.

That 3v3 was pretty cool. Wouldn't mind that instead of shootout

Streit is now on a 5 game scoring streak, putting up 8 points and a +4 during that span and reached Top 20 in the League for Dman scoring.
Way to go into postseason!

Good win by the Flyers, thought the Pens played more aggressive and were pretty dangerous at times, but Mason was amazing, hope he gets well soon...
And wow, Captain G and Voracek were flying, that combination can destroy any opponent on its day!

Ehh, I'm not sure. Pens seem to have Columbus's number, I feel like Detroit would have a better chance against them. Det/Bos would be great though.

What a game by Giroux and Voracek though. Hartnell was kinda along for the ride, he was lucky Letang got dragged off with him.

But man, how great is this MacDonald pickup for the Flyers? Guy is a beast. Coburn as well, another really solid game. Dude deserves the Ashbee this year, he's been an absolute rock.

Anyone else really like how Gill looked? Way better than Grossmann.

If Fleury is his usual playoff self and Bob stands tall they're going to have a bad time.

Yeah he's been great for us, he would have had more if he was on the 1st PP unit & it wasn't for those damn posts!

Water wet

Sun hot

Pens suck

All obvious things that don't need an explanation.

You can't and they won't. I think just as the fans are finally resolved to the idea of being fleeced in that trade, so are management.

They've been patient, too patient for my liking but he's such a noticeable liability out there. I expect, come playoff time, a platoon at the #6 spot.

I also expect to see him shipped out at the draft.

That Cbus team is a hard working physical hockey team. If Bob plays to vezina level and MAF chokes it's an first round exit for the pens.

I honestly would not be shocked if Columbus upsets them. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if ANY team did. Looks like I'll get to root for Bob once again.

Yeah, the Islanders gave them a serious scare last year by just working harder. They just didn't have the goaltending.

If Columbus is smart they'll watch every game the Flyers have played against the Pens starting in the 11-12 season and try to replicate that style.
I believe they have the right players for that two.

Not a lot sweeter than seeing Bob shutting down those clowns.

Bob doesn't even need to stand tall see Bryzgalov in that series.
