We wouldn't win and DB would still be here. How is that a positive?

If Pens win in say 7 games, i'll say Crosby gets 7 (3G 4A) points, Malkin 8(2G 6A). I don't expect godmode these playoffs.

I don't even want the Stanley Cup if Bylsma wins it.

There is the slight chance that if Bylsma makes it to the SCF again...and wins, he might actually change.

Or he fails hard, but the management keeps him on for another year because he made it to the SCF.

There's no way we rid ourselves of Bylsma.

I hate Bylsma and have not liked him since his first partial season here. But I would be fine for him to be around next year if the Pens win the Cup this year. Come on, man.

I wouldn't dismiss the CBJ. They are a hardworking team with nothing to lose and have a very good goalie that can steal a series. It wouldn't surprise me if they either win or take the Pens to 7. The only reason I preferred them of the three possible first round match-ups was because Philly gets under the Pen's' skin and Babcock is a much better coach than Bylsma.

Apparently to counteract the Pen fans taking over their arena, they are holding off selling playoff tickets to out of state people for 96 hours after the tickets are made available.

Here's how it goes down

PIT - CBJ --- PIT in 6
BOS - DET --- DET in 7 - completely battered
NYR - PHI --- NYR in 7 - completely battered
TBL - MTL --- MTL in 7

PIT - NYR --- PIT in 6
MTL - DET --- MTL in 6

PIT - MTL --- PIT in 6 (proving once and for all that Bylsma > defensive responsibility)

Out of the west comes a broken, fluky Colorado and Varlamov and Giguere have been injured for the cup final!

PIT - COL --- PIT in 5!

Our 4th Stanley Cup! Bylsma 15 year extension! Orpik MVP and 6 year contract for 5M/year! Glass extended! Despres, Gibbons and Bennett traded for a 4th round pick! Pyatt signed long term! Dumoulin gets more powerplay time!

Then we wake up and realize we left NHL 14 on and it influenced our dreams while we still got the controller in our hands.

Pens in 5

I love that we essentially have nothing but home games in this series as well...

Penguins will win, only and only because they have better finishers.

Anyone expecting this to go less than six better check themselves. Jackets are going to spend a TON of time in our zone but won't be able to put pucks away like the Pens can.

Do they have HFBOARDS in NHL 14?

Could you imagine the thought?

"Dan Bylsma for Prez?"
"FIRE BYLSMA"
"Post your healthy Pens lineups"
"My god the season is too fast, needs MOAR GAEMZ"

and so on...

I would still enjoy long playoffs run. At this point, I would take a SCF appearance, even if we lose it. That would be a success all things considered. And yeah, definitely a positive. Please, this Bylsma obsession is getting ridiculous now.

He'd build a team of grinders, but the game could never figure out the Fleury factor.

Will MAF not reach 40 wins this season? I would laugh so hard.

Horton is out. Umberger, though he was in the doghouse recently, is also out. Foligno might not be ready for the start of this series. I don't see how Columbus can expose our obvious weaknesses (Bylsma, Fleury, Orpik, Adams, et al).

Ryan Johansen isn't John Tavares. They don't have anyone resembling Kyle Okposo from last spring. Who's their Travis Hamonic, who will throw Malkin and Neal off their game?

This one should be easy, to be honest. Some might even say this is a good thing.

Yes. After getting called not a real fan in another thread for saying Bylsma should be fired if the Pens are bounced early, I am on edge to chastise others

You know how the AI trades are so bad? yeah...Crosby for a bunch of grinders. We would grind our way to victory, the hockey boards of the NHL series will be like "Shero sucks, fire him he ruined this team". Pens would have 10 wins max, Fleury 4.55GAA and 0.766 save%. 7-51-10
