Sabres-Jackets

For anyone listening, did you hear that Timmy Connolly has a concussion and Mair hasn't played with contact in a while? This rearranges the lineup now. Derek Roy will start in Buffalo for sure now.

sounds like Peters just took a tumble too.........man dont let him be hurt.......it would be nice to SEE (when the reg season starts vs listening to all these preseason games) a Sabre win a fight, since Boulton "the pylon" cant win.

I think Peters will be okay, and Mair may be okay by Thursday. That's about 5 more days.

Tim was going to sit anyway the first two games, so I don't think it rearranges too much. Let's hope not, at least. We need some stability to start the year.

It gets messed up too sometimes. I don't know if it's working now, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Thanks guys... I really appreciate it.

The columbus station who caries the games online, has really been horrible this year.

This power play we may have this year is making me salivate, we could be and do infact seem to be very dangerous with the PP!

Did Briere tip Zhitnik's shot? NHL.com has Briere with two goals.

Apparently so. Jeanneret said Briere has 2.

I hope this won't be a case of "deja vu". Anyone remember when the Sabres coughed up a 3 goal lead against Columbus last year in pre-season play?

I don't forsee that happening, at least I hope not.

For those with the feed, can you shed some light on Nedorost's game misconduct for checking from behind? He's not a dirty player by any strech, so this call surprised me.

Hmm, you could be right. I think they played twice last pre-seaon, could have been another game.

Rifled one right inside the post...it's amazing what playing in a contract year can do.

By the way, Buffalo's PP has 4 goals without Delmore in the lineup. Zhitnik has 3 points.
