So next year will it be Hartzell and Murray in wbs or a vet and Murray goes to wheeling?

It's getting pretty crowded down there.

I guess they'll go with 3 and then send the worst one to Wheeling.

Rust and Marcantuoni have already gotten into games.. I'm thinking Dea will as well. Not sure if Murray will with only 2 games left.

As far as goaltending.. Yeah, they'll sign a vet (like say, Mannino) and just let the three compete for starts.

I hope Shero doesn't go overboard with Vets for WBS next year, especially up front.

I agree. I think this is the first time in a long time where we don't really need more than a handful of vets. Kostopoulos will be brought back and Ebbett, I believe, signed a 2 year deal so he'll be there... Leblond is signed also. Beyond that, I think the rest of the forward and defensive line-up should be kids on ELCs.

One of Conner/Scrabbles but that's it. Guys like Uher, Payerl should be taking bigger roles.

Assuming Jacob is right WBS looks to have a line up something like this:

Kostopoulos-Dea-Wilson
Zlobin-Ebbett-Archibald
Kuhnhackl-Payerl-Uher
Rust-Sill-Marcantuoni
Farnham, Leblond

Samuelsson-McNeill
Harrington-Dumoulin
Ruopp-Poulliot
D'Agostini, Seymour

Murray
Hartzell
Mannino(?)

I know that there is some concern about whether Kuhnhackl is returning to Germany. (OK concern is probably too strong of a word.) Also what is the status of Machanek? Does he have any more time on his deal?

Machanek is a RFA so we can bring him back if we want. I don't think Seymour will be signed and I expect one Vet Dman.

So if das Kuhn goes back to Europe, we can always re-sign Machanek. I am not certain about Seymour. I am doubting he gets signed, but I figured to throw him in the figuring of the roster just in case.

Probably keep Mannino on and have a battle between Hartzell, Mannino, and Murray for the AHL jobs, well Mannino is likely the default starter, it'd be for the back-up job I would guess, but it would make more sense to start Murray in Wheeling where he could be starter and get a bunch of starts, over Hartzell.

I hope Kuhnhackl doesn't take off, although if it's just to go for a year and be back, I am ok with that if that is the best way for him to get back on track, but I feel it'd be better for him to stay in WBS.

He needs to work on a lot, which is obvious, but unless he's going into a league where the competition is as good or better than the AHL, not sure if he's going to be back then. He definitely needs to work on his skating, playing a more complete game, and bulking up and adding elements to his game that could make him stand out more.

I wouldn't be surprised if Murray is up with the Pens in their "Black Aces" group and is just the guy they shoot on in practice, but I figure with 3 already up...it's already crowded. So he'll be their Black Ace in WBS behind JDD and Mannino.

Mannino seems like the default #1, it's probably the back-up job that they'd be fighting for next year, which is fine, unless they usurp Mannino, they have to earn it.

He might get an AHL/ECHL contract.

Yep, Velischek played in the CHL this year (level below the ECHL).
