I read a tweet earlier which said that Homer wouldn't comment on whether a concussion could be ruled out or something like that

The general sense is that he will be available to play Thursday but without a practice today, the determination as to whether he is ready to practice tomorrow (Tuesday) will be made at that point. The word "whiplash" seems to have accompanied the play more so than concussion but as we know the latter isn't always determined immediately.

Thank you.

I dusted off the bin and subdued the abomination of a modified presentation.

Somewhere Opus is lurking and intoxicated by the fulfillment of his 3-post GDT desire.

There will be changes to both teams from what is listed in the first post. I'll wait to see how the practices develop during the week. The first practices are tomorrow.

Concussion or whiplash, either way no good for a goalie. This is going to be a tough series.

I'm taking the same perspective as Beef; ie, just happy to be in the postseason. And if Mason isn't ready to go, it will be like trying to climb Mount Everest in stilts and blindfolded.

Homer thinks he should be ready but wasn't sure. Sounds more like whip lash like MSE was saying.

They are going to see how he feels before practice tomorrow.

If Mason can play through his concussion and be anything close to 100% he will get his stuff done.

Which goals are you referring to?

Mason has bounced back strongly in the last three months. His save percentage in April was .935, in March it was .917, and in February it was .938.

Hey don't go posting facts in here. This is Philadelphia, if we lose games it's because the goalie sucks!

Line rushes at practice:

Hartnell-Giroux-Voracek
Raffl-Schenn-Simmonds
Akeson-Couturier-Read
Rinaldo-Hall-McGinn

Glad to see Akeson still in. Vinny is suppssidly taking an off day. Downie has another upper body injury and is day to day.

Good. Gives more room for Raffl and Akeson to do their thing.

Hartnell-Giroux-Voracek
Raffl-Schenn-Simmonds
Akeson-Couts-Read
McGinn-Vinny-Hall
Rinaldo

Sounds like a good line up to me.

Akeson! That is an awesome sign! I'd guess McGinn is odd man out when Vinny returns to practice.

Left after 15 mins - as was the initial plan. But not definite for Thursday. Tomorrow will be the day we know something.

Oh Dave Lozo constantly taking shots at the Flyers. It's a shame nobody reads his work since he works for bleacher report though....

Ranger fan coming in peace lol. Made this pump up video for the series. Tried to make it as non-biased as possible so both fan bases could enjoy it! Check it out!

That guy was retweeted into my timeline the other day, he didn't seem too bright. He was going nuts about the Flames signing Gaudreau to a two year deal. He couldn't grasp the concept that in the grand scheme of things that extra year really means nothing if there was a legit chance Gaudreau could have left them at the alter the following year.
