which panther(s) do u think will be this seasons break out stars

Offensively i am predicating : i really think we are going to have a couple of over 20 goal scorers. i am having a tough time picking . ah i can't pick cuz potentially we can have more than 6 guys at the 20 goal mark or higher.

defensively- van ryn and jaybo will be huge and not to far behind hill

u guys help narrow down who u think will be our top scorer, breakout young star, etc

ill go out on a limb and say horton, hueslius, and kolnik for the young and for the old umm gelinas, stumpel, nieuwendyk. picking one from each line

This made me think of something that has been lurking in my head after rifling through thread after thread of "we need a 1st line scorer!" Would it be too much of a stretch to put Horton in that role? Isn't that what we drafted him for? My answer would be not at all and yup!

Lucas Krajicek would be my Budweiser longshot pick.

He's loaded with offensive talent and skates like the wind. I hope he'll prove adequate in his ablility to defend. Of course, if Martin deems him too much of a liability for blueline duty I wouldn't mind seeing him moved to winger while still manning the point on the 2nd unit powerplay.
