we won't win it at the end - just like the last 3 tournaments. We're used to it by now

That's the same way with England. Except it's more than the last 3

Going to be playing organized ball hockey for the first time in 7 years tonight. Very excited. Of course last time was at U-20 Nationals in Halifax, now in what's probably a really low division co-ed league

I dunno, the roster still looks great, just don't have a world class striker. The midfield is beastly though.

Spain, Brazil, and Germany look like strong favourites. Belgium is my dark horse.

our team looks like a safe bet on paper ... but that won't stop us from stumbling over Italy or Spain at some point because they **** their pants. Even the striker situation isn't a real problem, IMO. Spain, Barcelona and lately Bayern from time to time played with a false 9 very successfully.

We actually start to believe Löw just isn't the right person the get them to make the last, final step. He just doesn't feel like a "winner". Personally I'd really like to see Heynckes or Hitzfeld take the job after this summer (when we failed to finish the job again).

Spain and Germany, definately. Brazil will have too much pressure, IMO. I'm still not totall convinced about Neymar, TBH.

Belgium isn't just a darkhorse. They are legit contenders, IMO. Easily on the same level as Brazil and ahead of Italy, England, Portugal, Argentina IMO.

I still haven't seen Fargo or No Country For Old Men.

I know they're going to be good, so they're on the list.

Anyone have any tips for freeing up some space on your root drive?
Have you ran disk cleanup lately? You could also save a bunch of space by lowering the size of your system restore. I used to save space/resources by moving my page file to another drive but I don't even know if that applies anymore, and I haven't cared to do it in this day and age of huge hard drives and **** tons of RAM.

No Country For Old Men feels a lot like Django, IMO. Both exceptionally good movies.

Yea I get that.

I loved Miller's Crossing (not watched by many and not female friendly). Their most female friendly pictures IMO were Raising Arizona, Fargo, and Interoperable Cruelty (which had a retro romantic comedy vibe)

Never liked them either. Since the beginning of his career, I pretty much hate CR7.

I love to see him lose. Look in his face and see his huge "I'm the best, greatest, sexiest person in the world"-ego crack. The beautiful thing is: He pretty much always loses big games against Germany or German teams. Tonight will be another chapter in that book

You will find your wind is a teeny weenie bit different than the last time you played.......pace yourself early and try not to puke (edit: or when you puke don't do it in front of the teammates....fake a leg injury and go to the hall and have at it)

Only half joking but the difference between being in your teens and 25 can be felt (understatement) on the first night of any type of anaerobic-endurance sport. Burning lungs, rubber legs, dizzy. best you can hope for is a really deep bench tonight and even then there is nowhere to hide because a few wind sprints and that is all she wrote. welcome to getting older Holden BUT have some fun because it’s all about the beer after the games now.

Check back in with us later and let us know how it goes if you have the strength to type out a few sentences. Take your phone and let us know if you are hospitalized and someone from the board can arrange to pick you up and get you home after they rehydrate you.

I speak from the wisdom of an old dude and something’s we guess on topics and other topics sadly we know with 100% certainly!

Miller's Crossing is awesome. I don't think I've seen it in 20 years. Highly recommended. Don't give it the high hat...

I don't understand any woman's appeal of that man. He's not sexy.

Now Blake Wheeler is sexy. Tyler Seguin is hot. CR7 is not even on my man candy radar.

Well it's pretty subjective of course but I don't get it either. I guess it's a little bit of a culturally biased thing: Italien, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish (etc.) women tend to be more into that kind of men.

German, French, British, Scandinavian (etc.) more into the same kind of men, North-American women would prefer. At least, that's what I think it is.

Weirdly that's not the case with men: Those ethically more "southern" men seem to LOVE everything that's blond somehow. When I'm with my girlfriend at the movies, walking in the city or whatever, it's always the Turkish/Italian/Kosovo guys that offensively seem to "wanna take a nice look at her": she's fit and blond.

I often get the feeling they look at us as a couple and think about me like "Why is that pretty blond girl with that little unmuscalin looking guy and not with a real men with dark hair and a lot of chest hair like me?" .. but that's just the feeling I have, of course.
