New coach there, so maybe he wants back. Unless WIN can trade him in a package that really helps them to better their team I'd say keep him.

He's 99% likely to be signing with the Jets either this summer or next.

Maurice coached in Russia and has been vocal about how it opened his eyes to Russian and overseas players in general. Just the fact that their hockey upbringing and training is different than in North America and that more patience is required with those players.

Chevy also reiterated those comments.

Burmi also recently hired a new agent, so that can also be seen as a promising sign.

I would love for the Oilers to make a trade for him.

Guy still has loads of potential.

Slepyshev-Burmistov-Yakupov would be crazy.

The Jets need LHD right? Marincin for Burmistov?

Me too.

His value is diminished now, but he could be an important asset. Better to bring him back and see what they have rather than trading him for pennies on the dollar.

Because there's NO CHANCE he will ever get offended by a coach who tells him to eat his salad with his dinner fork and run to mother with his flag between his legs, AGAIN.

Thanks for the gracious offer though!

There really is no reason to move him. Let him play on the Jets and either find a spot long term, or raise his stock for a later move.

No point to move him right now.

When he was drafted what was he projected to be? Or what is he still projected to be? Top 3? Top 6?

I don't know how he played when he was drafted, but now when u watch some of his matches in KHL he always catches your attention. He should be able to put 45-50 points right now maybe even a bit more

Always liked Burmistrov. The kid's a solid 3rd liner who can step up in the lineup when you need him.

Rangers don't have a lot of movable pieces. Maybe Danny Kristo & Oscar Lindberg?

Send him to the Caps for Troy Brouwer. Line him up with Ovie to balance out the offense/defense play.
