I think Richards has been fine this game. Forechecked pretty well, made some nice passes and been good in his own zone

4th line is the best line. Boyle may be their best player right now(thats high praise coming from me). But, the Rangers can't rely on them to score goals. They are doing their part neutralizing Flyers big guns. You can't ask much more.

Zuc line has played solid but can't do it all.

Richards line is a roller coaster.
I agree with you on the first. I think MSL has been fine and the other two not so much. Although Stepan has been far better than Nash. Nash has really had a bad game.

If only this game were half as entertaining as the CHI-STL game. Or the MTL-TB game. Or the PIT-CLB game. Well ... you get the idea.

Screw it. I'll watch the Chicago game, and catch the NYR highlights afterwards.

Brass line should be allowed to play as much as they can handle, best line by far.

But Zucc needs to control himself when he gets pissed, dumb penalty.

Team is dominating but just can't finish. I can't believe i'm saying this but MSL is actually holding richards down this game.

Someone needs to finish and put PHI on their heels. They'll lose control and take stupid penalties.

Hags is showing a lot of effort. He is just isn't very intelligent. I agree with you with Fast(however he has played fine).

Richards just can't keep up on that line.

I've noticed about half a dozen of them. The best shift he had was when he got stuck out there with Dorsett and Boyle. He simply plays better with guys who have size, but aren't zipping around so fast he can't keep up.

Stopping the puck from going in always takes precedence over rebound control. Rebound control is a secondary reaction from an initial save.

A bouncing puck is unpredictable and he just insured that it didn't go in rather than trying to control a rebound on an unpredictable bouncing puck.

It wasn't pretty by any means.

Am I the only one ok with Zucc's penalty? It was that last shot while the player was down that got him the 2mins, everything leading up to it - yeah give it back to the Flyers.

Loved Fast's hit on Rinaldo.

We are potentially 1 bad bounce or 1 great shot away from losing a game that we've totally dominated.

So Rangers.

Miller has let up THREE goals on SEVEN shots. None of them were bad. Last one was on a Kane breakaway. If Lundqvist did that, our forum would have a meltdown.

Really pulling for Miller though. Big fan of him. He has had a hard time adjusting to the Blues.

MSL is holding a guy down who he's not playing with?

Richards has been decent, can't ask for much more out of the third line C.

All of that is fine. But he can't just let the puck flop into the slot right to a Flyer.

I guess that one shifts counts for the entire game.

MSL has been sloppy with the puck, though.

Don't try to talk sense to someone whose obviously never played the position. Hank did what you should do there. On a flip in on goal you want to play the short bounce.
