The guy woke up when the team needed him most. Thank you DD for such a heroic performance at the right time. His heart an effort the last two games exemplifies what being a Montreal Canadien is all about.
I have never seen the pace of his game so elevated for such a sustained stretch as these 11 playoff games.
He's shown a defensive element that even most of his supporters didn't know that he had.
He has yet to make the adjustment to his passing game which his higher skating speed requires. He's a bit off. Hopefully that adjustment will come this series. Or, perhaps, the Rangers won't require his highest gear all the time and the adjustment won't be needed.
I loved his reaction to the Pacioretty goal. It was in the "it's about ****ing time" category at both himself and #67.
